We are a neighborhood independent restaurant owned by Laguna Beach Native, Executive Chef Lindsay Smith with Wine Country Inspired California Coastal Cuisine in the heart of Downtown Laguna Beach, between Main Beach & the Historic Festival of Arts. Her main focus is to feed our guests the way she chooses for her our own family. In a warm and inviting atmosphere, the hope is that each guests leaves as if she were welcoming friends and family into her home. We take pride in sourcing the freshest ingredients available when creating our menus with Free Range & Organic Poultry, Sustainable Seafood, Antibiotic & Hormone Free Meats, Seasonal, Local and/or Organic Produce. Parking is validated to half their fee for diner or leave for festivals at their normal rate. Street Meter Parking also around building on all sides but not always available.

There is a public transport drop off at the main Laguna Beach bus depot 100 Yards East of the building.Laguna Beach Trolley runs along PCH about 500 yards form the restaurant as well as seasonally runs next door at the bus station with easy accessibility to all Festival Grounds & Playhouse.

The food was great though a little over priced for the place. The restaurant is small and the atmosphere is just ok. That said I think it’s worth it for the food. 3 out of 4 dishes I got were top notch. I didn’t like the goat cheese/maple ice cream. It was truly awful, huge chunks of frozen goat cheese is a fail. I ate around them and made the best of it. BUT, I got the stuffed poblano, crispy wontons and 4pc mushroom ravioli. All very good. Also, the old fashioned was very good but the cherry garnish they used was not. It tasted like it was soaked in moonshine. I feel the service should be better for the price point. My server could have cared less that I was there but the lady who greated me at the door was nice and kept checking on me. I tipped 20%in the hopes that she gets some of that. My waiter deserved 10% tops. The owner/manager was working at the table behind me and talking about supply orders etc. it was distracting during my meal. It was 6pm not 3 in the afternoon. Isn’t there a better place or time to do paperwork and discuss restaurant business than during dinner service? Overall I would recommend this restaurant because the food is outstanding.

We are loved Nirvana. Haven't been there for years but what a re-discovery! The food was fantastic and way more reasonable than many of the other Laguna restaurants. I had the mushroom ravioli and the butter lettuce salad. We were a foursome, and everyone thought their meal was excellent. Hooray for Chef Lindsay and we'll wee you soon again! We ate inside, as it was a cold night. I think they have outdoor as well, but wasn't able to explore other than the main dining area.

Always delicious. Chef Lindsey creates great salads, apps and mains. I loved the scallops with risotto. The Loop de Mer with lentils was also delicious. We've eaten here for many years and always enjoy the food and ambiance. Even when busy, it is easy to have a conversation. The vibe is relaxed and they have a nice selection of drinks, beer, and wine. We highly recommend Nirvana. You can tell that Chef Lindsey really cares about the food and service.

What an amazing meal. Amazing staff. Lindsay is a wonderful artist with food. Go to this place. Never worried about what is going into my body at this place. Feel great even after over eating, because trust me you can’t stop.

We were a party of 6, welcomed to a wonderful big table for as long as we needed. Everyone loved their meals, I especially enjoyed a poblano rellano appetizer (!) and there was sharing of meals by all— sooo good. Ended meal sharing with a slice of multi layer carrot cake. Super friendly staff.
