Welcome to Nipotina!
A new neighbourhood Italian in South Audley Street from restaurateur Samyukta Nair, showcasing the talent of Turin-born chef Somaia Hammad. Meaning ‘granddaughter’ in Italian, Nipotina’s menu will blend the duo’s cultural traditions to create nostalgic dishes with family at the core, all made with simple, seasonal produce along with a good dose of Italian soul.
Borrowing chef Somaia nonna's recipes, Nipotina’s menu will feature family classics that she’s been able to make her own. A relaxed and informal dining experience, Nipotina will be home to wood-fired seafood and meats, handcrafted pasta, crisp Nothern Italian pizzas, all-Italian wine list, classic cocktails and warm hospitality. Open early each morning for breakfast, long lunches, aperitivo, late dinners and cocktails, the restaurant will take inspiration from cherished memories made from Piedmont to Puglia.

Some really delicious food. Particularly liked the penne with spicy vodka and tomato sauce. The meat cookery was excellent. Very good choice of wine and delicious negronis. Charming service. It was a very quiet, wet Sunday evening - would like to go again when it's busier. Still a very nice feel to this newly opened restaurant.

Was was welcomed into the Resturant with a very warm greeting We were told they had only been open 2 weeks and the place looked great Our server Luke was great and made good recommendations from the menu The food turned up in good time and was delicious Well worth the visit and the price was reasonable for Mayfair Well done Nipotina hope to see you soon

Great new Italian in the heart of Mayfair Cosy little place authentic food and great service also good value for Mayfair ! Will be going again soon

We felt welcome from the moment we stepped in the door and were taken to our table. The staff were cordial and well informed and gave us some fantastic recommendations. The martini's were perfect, and the wine suggestion from the sommelier a beautiful blend to our dinner. We shared the appetisers: zucchini fritti (crisp and lovely); Insalate di Finocchio (delightful blend of flavours); Fritto Misto (scrumptious); Bruschetta di Porcini (excellent suggestion / gasp worthy). We all loved our mains: Cacio e Pepe; Linguine vongole; Mafalde al Ragu ... a wonderful burst of flavours. We topped off our evening with Tiramisu and Cheesecake. It was a wonderful 3 hours where we never felt rushed or neglected, and we were able to catch up without being drowned out by the environment. We will be back.

It was a little chaotic but it was a soft opening One can't be too critical, even so, it took about 15 minutes for the wine to arrive, but the food was good, chicken livers very tasty pizza very good

Disappointing. Pizza was served stone cold. Items on menu not available. Food order when it came was wrong. Very slow service only redeeming feature was staff were polite. Not worth a visit

Nice menu choices. Very good front of house management and service. Lovely ambience for a quiet meal. The in house Negroni was very nice.

Very disappointing. Service was slow. Food was average - nothing was extremely flavourful. Octopus was drenched in oil, vongole pasta had barely any flavour no fish roe even though stated in the menu. Pizza was ok but a bit soggy.
