At my table for four we had very happy customers. The service was excellent and prompt. The food was a smash: calamari was delicious. My Caesar salad was perfectly dressed. The sole special was truly chef’s kiss caliber. One of us had the puttanesca pasta. She said it wasn’t saucy enough and needed a little more zing. All in all we vote for a return soon!

My second visit -- I could not resist ordering the sole special again -- so, so good. We also ordered empanada appetizer which was tasty but a bit heavy -- probably wouldn't order again unless with just another appetizer and no entree. Staff is very sweet and helpful. Maybe a bit understaffed? Definitely a good addition to the neighborhood. It would be nice to have a plain chicken entree for my husband. The iced tea could be fresher. But I am kind of picky about it. Overall, very happy and will be back.

Delicious food. There was a live band at one end of the restaurant but was not too bothersome as we were seated at the other end of the restaurant. I think someone was sick as they were understaffed.

We went to Ninebark for the first time yesterday evening. It is a well appointed neighborhood place. The staff was welcoming and very friendly, and the noise lefvel was fine. Our server was very nice. We each ordered the house special hamburger, which had bacon, blue cheese, and fig jam. We ordered a side salad instead of fries. My beer (a Sam Adams non-alcoholic brew) was fine. The lettuce in the salad was not very fresh, which is odd since local lettuce now is great this time of year. We had ordered the burgers medium rare, but they were not. The blue cheese and fig jam did not work for any of us. I think it's a mistake to mix these flavors with a hamburger. With cheese yes, but not hamburger. Perhaps it's an acquired taste. We should have thought much more carefully about the toppings before ordering, so that error is on us. We wanted to like the restaurant, and I think that it has great potential, But last night was disappointing. I wish them well nevertheless.

The nachos with grilled chicken were excellent. The lettuce in the Caesar salad was very fresh. The bolognese leaned strongly toward authentic (not just red sauce with meat) but was a little heavy and some of the pasta was stuck together. The chicken Milanese and burgers were solidly executed. The service was very friendly - a little slow even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded. A welcome addition to the neighborhood. I wouldn’t drag people here to check it out but would feel very comfortable asking friends from relatively close by to meet me here.

We were seated but the wait staff wasn’t notified for about 15 minutes, They were so mortified, attentive and over and above with service and comped us a delicious dessert. The food was great and reasonably priced. I would go back any time, delightful staff.
