Nine Jars is the place to be - home of delicious food and beautiful cocktails! Family run by father and son Dan and James Nine Jars prides itself on being Suffolk's Best Kept Secret, tucked away in the market town of Haverhill... but it is well worth travelling for! Sit back and relax as our small and friendly team take care of you.

Located within The Suffolk Hotel, a 10 bedroom boutique, Nine Jars brings a touch of something special to casual dining and a venue that you can enjoy an evening out in without the need to go anywhere else. The Hotel is also home to The Hive, our daytime coffee shop concept serving lunchtime treats, cakes and the best illy coffee.

The food was amazing and the service was brilliant, especially Jasmine who showed us too our table made us feel very welcome.

This was our first time dining at Nine Jars. The staff were very efficient and we were well looked after from start the finish. The restaurant was modern, clean and just a lovely place to be. The food was amazing! We had the Sunday Roast Sharing Platter. I must say, it's one of the best roast dinners we've had at a restaurant. We'll definitely be going back. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience for my son’s 2nd birthday, waitress was amazing very attentive and very engaging and caring of us and my two young boys . She also was very good with actioning my son’s birthday cake and him wanting his food asap. The food was outstanding and highly recommended.

Lovely food! Shakes and alcohol were delicious too. The family enjoyed dining here, I especially enjoyed the waffle and chicken.

Had a lovely lunch here with my husband. So much to choose from on their daytime menu - wanted to try it all! We opted for chicken & waffles and a club sandwich… delicious! Service could be improved though. Nobody to greet us and show us to our booked table on arrival. We waited in the doorway over 5 minutes before I went in to find someone.

Reserved table for 5 people for birthday meal everything we ordered something missing , final thing steak missing from mixed grill and no onion rings, was waiting over 40 mins for drinks which is not acceptable as restaurant was not full, told by waitress drinks was on table which they wasn't ,felt so sorry for waitress because the ordering of stock and serving of drinks was not her domain .

The food at The Nine Jars is very good and the portions are huge! The menu is varied and not overwhelming. Our server was lovely, she was very attentive and we were never without a drink. The atmosphere is good and nice place to meet friends for drinks or food.

Great food, drinks and music. Service very slow, tables left from previous dinners and looked dirty. Female toilets need a really good clean.
