NiMo is a Coastal Mediterranean concept by Feal Hospitality, owned by dynamic duo Chef Niven Patel and Mohamed “Mo” Alkassar. The menu, itself, is a depiction of the bond formed by the partners over the years. It is the story of Mo, who grew up in the Mediterranean between Syria and Spain, told through the cuisine of his business partner, Chef Niven Patel. The menu is a culinary journey across the Mediterranean which includes dishes inspired by Syrian, Greek, and Spanish cuisine. Italy takes center stage with various pastas and wood fired pizza, a nod to Chef Niven’s time in Florence. As is true for all Feal Hospitality restaurants, fresh ingredients come first and local purveyors are showcased, including our own farm, Rancho Patel. NiMo is a casual yet elevated restaurant with pops of colors that add to the fun and excitement of the branding. The dining room features an open kitchen and is anchored by a 360 bar which opens to the exterior covered patio.

From the reception to the server, everyone was so kind and attentive! The happy hour menu was fantastic and the ambience was perfect for our girls night out. I will definitely be back.

It was our second time going to Nimo and we had another great experience! The food is delicious, the portions are a good size and the service is excellent.

Good vibe...love sSierra as she was friendly and helpful. Gordon our waiter was solid. Mo was there but did not come by...very disappointed as we had some food delivered cold after we waited forever. Kitchen was struggling and respectfully, it is not even season yet. What will happen then?

Great happy hour—premium spirits for the cocktails and nice choice of bar snacks. The appetizers on the regular menu are also very good and enough to make a meal of. Very good service as well. We’ll be back.

We went to NiMo for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted very nicely by Zach, got our drinks speedily , and the waitress showed up soon after to take our food orders. I ordered the halibut with chickpeas, zucchini, olives and tomato sauce, only that the tomato sauce and the olives were missing and there was about one quartered slice of zucchini on this dry looking dish. The waitress brought me the tomato sauce after I mentioned that half the dish was missing. For $38 I expect perfection. Towards the end of dinner our waitress went missing until she showed up with the bill….. and the dessert menu. ? If somebody brings us the bill before even asking if we wanted dessert, we assume they want us to leave, so we didn’t order any dessert, even though it would have been nice, considering that we were having a celebratory meal. We won’t be back.

Fish from the special was very overcooked. Risotto dish with shrimp was very underwhelming. For the prices, you would think the food would be more sophisticated and better executed.
