It was truly an enjoyable experience. The waiter was very knowable about the menu and food were outstanding. His timing was superb and had a very engaging personality. 5+ rating on our experience at Niko's.

We are regulars, but the consistently wonderful food + ambience + service makes this one of the best spots in Durham

Nikos was a 10/10 in all categories!! Food 10! Atmosphere 10! Drinks 10! Wait staff 100!! So good!! Also I had a chef experience certificate that I had purchased (donated by Nikos) to my sons school, and while I made a reservation, I neglected to actually read the certificate instructions that clearly said to call management ahead of time so that they could prepare. Nikos honored the certificate anyway and made our night spectacular!

Delicious food, arrayed from simple mezes (including several vegetable dishes) to more elaborate ones, to full plates. Our party of five adults ordered a lot of food, loved everything, and left nothing on our shared plates. Waitstaff was good in helping us navigating it all. We sat on the sheltered outdoor patio where it was easy to hear each other. I am making a reservation for tomorrow with a different group, just two days later.
