This was the 2nd time we visited since it opened and the food was much improved over the first time. The portions were bigger and more solid. Even though there was still a charge for bread, the bread was much better and sliced thickly. The live music was amazing-2 guitars, Joe Rangel and Bob Frazier. It was wonderful listening to them. Overall we enjoyed the music very much, the food was improved, and our waiter was wry nice!

Went to nighttown to celebrate a friend's birthday. They had live music but where able to sit us in a room far enough away from the performance that we could enjoy it but still chat. Our server was wonderful. He was very accommodating to our slow ordering. Glad nighttown is back. It's updated but has the charm it was known and loved for.

Expensive for the quality. Steak was over cooked as well as the hamburger.

We sat out in the covered patio and it was a wonderful experience all around! Our waiter Holly was so kind, attentive, and made sure our large party had what we needed in a timely manner. We have so missed Sunday brunch at Nighttown and we’re so glad it’s back!

We had enjoyed our meal and experience. It’s great to see this restaurant still thriving and serving the community. I had the salad and the delicious jerk cauliflower, my husband had the burger. Great service!

Nighttown had been a part of our family’s dining experience for 50+ years. The restaurant had been closed, sold and remodeled. While the restaurant retained some of the old favorites, they had some new items well. The service was the most disappointing element; dinner last two hours. (Not because we were leisurely dining).

This was without a doubt the worst service I have ever received at any restaurant on any continent I have been to. There were only two tables in use when I was there, mine and another table. When the food came my dining companion asked the server for crushed red pepper. After ten minutes it had not arrived so I literally stared at the waiter and one of his colleagues chit chatting across the room. Another employees saw me but neither the waiter nor any of the other employees came over so I went up to him and asked him for crushed red pepper. Again, there were only two tables in the entire dining room that had customers sitting at them. Mine, which had two people, and another table, which had 5 people, so it wasn't like the place was even slightly busy. I can only surprise there were so few customers because of the horrific service. I wound up asking a total of 4 employees for the crushed red pepper before it arrived. It came when my dining companion was almost finished eating his meal so he no longer needed the crushed red pepper. The first person who was asked forgot what my dining companion requested because he came up to us when my companion was almost done and said he hadn't brought out the crushed red pepper because the kitchen only had crushed red pepper. When I said that was what my companion asked for that employee said "oh" and then he left stating he would get it but he never brought it out. One of the people I asked showed up after the check arrived and told me he couldn't find any. He had apparently forgotten to get back to us until then. The next problem was the ice cream. We ordered it and it took around a total of 20 minutes to arrive. The spoons came, then the check came, then the waiter took the credit card and check and processed the check, then the waiter came back and was surprised we didn't have the ice cream. After another 10 minutes it finally arrived. For obvious reasons, we won't be going back.

Service, food and atmosphere was superior. We had someone in our party who was disabled and the waiter went above and beyond to accommodate her needs and comfort level. We had our wedding breakfast here 38 years ago. We recently relocated back in Cleveland so going back brings back great memories. We were concerned that it would not be the same but it is even better then it was some 30 odd years ago. And, the desserts are outstanding. Will be returning often. It feels like home.

I was excited to visit Nighttown and our experience did not disappoint! The much needed updates are a perfect mix of nostalgia and thoughtful modernization. Our cocktails food and service were all spot on. I was thrilled to see music is back and to learn next time I come I can bring my pup and dine outside. Well done Nighttown, can’t wait to return.
