NightJar, our private room has a separate entrance at 334 Gough Street and is the perfect setting for intimate parties, dinners, and happy hours. We offer a full bar and a well tailored wine list. Our chef will tailor the 5 course menu to each event, matching seasonal and market availability with guest preferences for $150 per person (exclusive of beverages, tax and service charge of 22%.) Cancelation Policy - We do ask for 5 working days before reservation, if this reservation is cancelled with in the 5 days before your reservation a fee of $150 per person will be applied. This room can accommodate up to 8-14 guests for a seated dinner, bookings at 5:30pm and 8pm.

I made a reservation here on the spur of the moment for our anniversary, justifying the expense by thinking we usually take a trip, which we didn’t this year. What a fantastic experience it was! The food was glorious, the presentation and ambiance were perfect—tasty morsels served in lovely dishes by the warm and gracious staff who work together like a well oiled machine, or rather like a quiet dance company, discretely delivering gifts of food to the few tables in the room. The sample menu on the website is an accurate example of the number of things that come to your table, and while each dish is small, each bite was amazing and it added up to the perfect amount of food for both me and my husband, who are not shy eaters. Our main server, Jordan, was more like a lovely and down to earth concierge and gave us outstanding recommendations for the few glasses of wine we had, some not on the list. The whole experience was like a delightful trip to another land where you are given wonderful food in a comfortable atmosphere and feel well taken care of by lovely people, so considering all of that, it was definitely worth it.

We love Nightbird. The ambiance is lovely, but the food is the star of the show. Chef Kim is phenomenal and serves up her dishes in the most creative and delightful ways. As true foodies who have eaten at fine food restaurants in Paris, Shanghai and other places around the world, the flavors here are truly divine and we enjoyed every morsel. The staff is also always on point. We celebrated our anniversary here and it was the perfect place for us to celebrate our love for one another and eat incredibly well. Thank you!!

The fixed price menu was interesting and engaging with the interrelated ingredients and flavor notes connecting courses together. A total of 12 courses, with 5 being mains, was a good value. Good wines with good values by the glass. Unusual and functional ceramics. A very nice prelude to our evening at the opera. A Michelin recommended restaurant that really deserves a star.

It was a wonderful experience to celebrate my husband's birthday at Nightbird. The food is outstanding as well as the service is. I highly recommend you to visit this beautiful place.

I was impressed by the food but concerned by the lack of attention to our dietary needs. The staff informed me when we arrived that, while they were aware of my sensitivity to alliums, the menu was full of alliums and the chef was unwilling to accommodate this dietary need in any way. They knew this over a week prior when we made the reservation, but didn’t reach out to warn me that this might not be a good fit for our group. When I asked that they not add in the various scallions, garlic, etc. on my plate, they insisted that the dishes couldn’t be served that way and I really should just try eating the alliums. Astonishing. There was more that wasn’t great - it took over 30 minutes to get our first course, asking for bread was viewed with disdain by one waiter. Not a place that I will return.

Lovely time. Creative, tasty and relaxed elegance, kind staff. They are worthy of a Michelin star. I have been to many and feel like they have earned it.
