Luxury takes root in the heart of Austin at Nido, bringing the charm of the area together with the culinary techniques of coastal Europe, all perched above Lady Bird Lake and the energetic cityscape.

Nido is located on the rooftop of The Loren at Lady Bird Lake - recently named by Conde Nast Traveller and Travel & Leisure Magazine as "one of the hottest hotel openings in the world." Nido nods to the surrounding and native Hill Country, giving diners a one-of-a-kind respite to experience worldly-travel through food. Nido’s selection of carefully crafted, seasonal menus are internationally-inspired with a focus on classical technique.

Reservations are available for inside the dining room and the dining tables in the bar. Lounge seating is available on a walk in basis in the bar and on the terrace for drinks and snacks.

The Loren Hotel welcomes Chef Illan Hall and Rahul Khopkar of Ramen Hood LA for a special 2-night pop up in Nido’s Lounge featuring a coursed vegan dinner showcasing current and classic hits including broccoli with a soy chili glaze, spicy ‘tuna’ beets, avocado toast done Raman Hood style, and options of the OG Ramen or Spicy. A portion of proceeds from The Loren Chef Series benefits The Loren Roots Imperative, a non-profit created to help offset the carbon footprint of development.

Join us for a Thanksgiving gathering at Nido, where we're proud to offer a traditional family-style menu. Our menu includes Honeynut Squash Soup, Brussels Sprouts, Roasted Turkey, Parker House Rolls, Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole, and Pumpkin Panna Cotta— $89 per person. Please be aware that our regular à la carte menu will not be available on Thanksgiving Day. Price of menu includes food only, is per person and is not inclusive of beverage, tax or gratuity. Payment will be due at the restaurant after the meal has concluded. Please see cancellation policy when booking.

I love this place. The patio is perfect and has a great view of the skyline. Love the fries and the service is attentive. A really nice and spacious dining room as well. I've been multiple times, recommend it to my friends, and will continue to go back.

Our server was very good and the ambience is quite nice. Drinks are a little overpriced but very good. Appetizers were nice and tasteful. Dinner plates must improve a lot. We ordered a mushroom ravioli which was expensive considering there were only three of them on the plate. Risotto was quite tasteless also. Food is definitely quite overpriced and tasteless. We asked to split the bill on two cards but only one card was charged.

Beautiful spot, they claim to be tapas style with small portions for sharing but are a little overpriced for three small bites per dish. We tried 5 dishes and had 5 drinks and the bill was about $300. Loved all the food and the ambience!

It wasn’t a terrible experience don’t get me wrong. But I just found it to be strange paying that much for that little food. If you come there hungry your can expect to spend a couple hundred and only maybe then you’ll feel close to full. And for being a candle lit fancy dinner place I was surprised that it was so loud in there I had to yell for me partner to hear me from across the table. Overall. Was it cool to check out? Sure. Do I plan on coming back? Probably not

Waiter though had great customer service he continuously rubbed, wiped touched and picked at his nostrils. I stoped counting after around the 50th wipe. It was distracting and unappetizing. My completely fact-less speculation was that he was responding to having sniffed a line prior to coming to assist us. I watched him do these nose touches at not just our table but at every table he waited. Nido has one of the best views in Austin so this wont stop me from continuing to go, but i do hope to not have this type of experience again. Im choosing not to include a name as to not single this staff member out but just so there is some level of awareness . Ive actually had this waiter previously and don’t recall having this experience before.

Got an outdoor table which was amazing. Got special service for our anniversary and the food was so delicious. 10/10!
