Nic's Trattoria is a casual restaurant offering small plates, wood-fired pizza and homemade pasta. We are currently open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner (seating from 5:00pm until 8:30pm).

Another fantastic dinner! We were celebrating selling our home and were in a festive mood. We were promptly sat and Jessica came over to ask us what kind of water we preferred and then took our drink order. Drinks were perfect, especially the Black Manhattan. Appetizers of fried calamari (the best in the area!) and Prosciutto and Burrata came out shortly. This was the first time ordering the P&B app (I usually go with the Whipped Ricotta, which I ended up ordering to take home!). There was enough of both the meat and cheese for two people and the toasted baguette was warm and crunchy. Mains were Chicken Parm and Veal Parm (I was so tempted to order one of Nic's amazing pizzas!). Both were excellent, but we had enough to take home for lunch today. Jessica's service was awesome: friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Nic's is one of our "go-to" places in East Greenbush - it never disappoints! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My 6 year old requested going here for his birthday dinner. He loves the pizza. I love the arancini and chicken ceaser salad. Drinks are always delicious here too!

Nic’s continues to serve great food. Service is always great. Keep up the great work. And for those who love and always order the whipped ricotta appetizer (like we do) - note you can ask for it to be made with honey.

The food is eclectic and was very good, my shrimp and crab could have been a tad more brothy or creamy, as it was a bit dry, and you truly should either offer a better way of presenting the grated cheese or offer it as being grated in front of you (could not get the cheese out the shaker, and it’s just not a classy way of offering it). We also asked for bread but were not told there was a charge ~ it was fabulous to be sure, but would have been nice to know it was going to cost. And I continue to find it interesting that a fine Italian restaurant would charge for bread, but that’s just my opinion. Many thanks for a great evening otherwise, I will be back, and I believe my friends have been there multiple times ~ interested in trying the pizza!

The place is so loud you can’t hear yourself think! Tables for 2 very close together. Right at the beginning of our meal some drunk guy came over and almost sat on top of my 88 year old mom so he could talk to the people he knew at the next table. At the top of his lungs of course! Wait staff is ok. charging $20 antipasto salad that should cost half is a total travesty. If you don’t mind overpaying for lettuce and travel with your own ear plugs it’s the place for you. We will never go back.
