Josh, Katie and JJ welcome you to Nick's Steak and Seafood. For the past 20 years we have been happy to bring high quality dining in a relaxed casual atmosphere to Hilton Head Island. With “Something for Everyone” the entire family will be able to find that one dish that they can’t live without.     Excellent food, reasonably priced. It was casual, and had more of a Hemingway vibe to it - a clean, well-lighted place. Not fancy, tho. Service was good, and I’ll reintegrate the food was excellent. Highly recommend!

    Extremely mediocre. Server lacked any personality that almost came across as unpleasant but I think it was just his demeanor. Food had no flavor. My redfish was way overcooked and dry. Steak was prepared appropriately but again no flavor. Very bland. Fried shrimp was best thing ordered and tasted good.

    We truly enjoyed our Pierogi appetizer! Delicious! I ordered the blackened Captain’s Platter, with flounder, scallops, shrimp, which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The green beans were the vegetable of the day and tasted fresh and crisp. My husband ordered the fried Captain’s platter and enjoyed everything he had. Normally, he does not care for Flounder, but found it to be seasoned flavorfully and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent and the ambiance was delightful. We purposely reserved an early dinner to avoid the crowds and we were well pleased with the calm atmosphere. The one small item in which we were disappointed was the seasoned rice. It was cold, dry and lacked taste, although it seemed as though an attempt was made to season it. I would have preferred mashed potatoes or another side other than the rice, had I known how poorly it was prepared. Overall, we immensely enjoyed our visit and will visit again one day when we visit HHI next year.

    On the upside, our server, Noah, was very attentive and personable. The restaurant was clean and bright. The menu looked promising but the food was not very good. We both ordered the bourbon glazed seafood kabobs. The scallops were a weird, almost fake, texture and the glaze was thin and tasteless. Fortunately the shrimp was edible. We switched out the rice for mashed potatoes. That may have been a mistake because the potatoes tasted like they were instant.

    We had a really good meal at Nick's. I had the NY Strip and hubby had the Filet Mignon. I added on the mushrooms/onions and the blue cheese horseradish sauce, which was warm and amazing. Hubby had the skewers of shrimp add on. Would definitely go back on next trip to HHI. Shannon , our server, was sharp, and very attentive to us and her other guests!

    Food was mediocre. Service was fine, but our waiter had little personality. When I asked for a recommendation, he seemed irritated and stated “everything is good.” My menu was filthy. I would not recommend.

    We ordered 3 steaks and a fish dinner. What a disaster of a dinner. The steaks and the fish had no flavor, completely undercooked, tough and tasteless. The dinner was $200.00, a complete wast of money and time. The place is complete run down with sticky tables. We should have left as soon as we set down. The waitress was a complete disaster, no help and unfriendly. What a place. I gave it 1 star because I had to. It deserves no stars.

    We had high expectations when we arrive. Nicks did not disappoint. The Red fish was excellent. I highly recommend ordering Savanah Style. What a treat!!
