We celebrated our anniversary at Nick and G’s last night and loved it! The food was absolutely delicious. The carpaccio was the best Ive ever had! Orion was our server and he was fantastic! We are already looking forward to our next dinner at Nick and G’s!!

A neighborhood gem. Good food at fair prices, a full bar with well-priced drinks, and excellent service. Well worth checking out in the San Diego area.

It took 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there. We had reservations or I would have left. We both ordered the Salmon which was overcooked and lacked flavor. I would have expected more from the location and restaurant.

Wonderful food, service and entertainment. We ate inside the restaurant but could still hear Dave Scott’s duo on the patio. The noise level was such that it was easy to hold a conversation and still enjoy the music. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

We came for Mother's Day brunch with high hopes, but the service team really seemed to be struggling. Out of the 4 of us, only 2 got their entree, the other two were out 15 mins later because our meals were brought to a different table. These things happen, it's a holiday, we understand. What we felt was rather unfortunate is that there was no effort to make right. The manager came out to explain what happened only after we began to inquire and the waiter came over to offer us another round of drinks. We interpreted this as a comped round as an apology, but instead were charged for both rounds. I'm happy to pay for a quality meal with quality service, and certainly expected better in the heart of Rancho Santa Fe. For a $500 experience, it's safe to say this did not deliver and that's a shame.
