« Tenant son nom du plus grand quotidien du sud de la France, le Nice Matin apporte à l’Upper West Side une touche de cuisine provençale et une petite présentation à la cuisine de Nice, berceau entre autres de la pissaladière et du pan bagnat et, si on en croit la carte, d’un énorme steak au comté, mariné à l’aïoli et servi avec des frites au romarin. C’est le meilleur hamburger depuis que Daniel Boulud a rassemblé foie gras et côtelettes dans un steak haché. Arrived for my 3:15 reservation today. I have often ordered the avocado omelette and planned to order it again , but was surprised at the new menu offerings starting 15 minutes later at 3:30 did not include the omelette . Disappointed, I Ordered my favorite autumn salad , but wanting to add more protein, asked if I could add chicken. I was told only if I ordered a second entree of Paillard de Poulet. Not my plan to order two entrees instead of the omelette. I had specifically chosen Nice Matin for my favored food. In future, I will need to only choose my favorite (and doctor recommended )omelette choice earlier in the day or find another omelette offering at another restaurant. Disappointed. Still love that autumn salad

A beautiful setting for gathering with friends over great food and drink. One of my favorite places in Manhattan.

Great atmosphere. Had high exceptions for the food given the dinner $$$. Overall a good experience. We'll try brunch the next time.

At one time, Nice Matin had some of the best pomme frites in Manhattan…not any longer. They’ve changed the way they’re prepared from true French pommes frites to limp and undercooked…a bowl of oatmeal has more body

Great, professional team of servers and back up people. We never had to wait for our server to ask if we needed anything. They were very polite and respectful. We love NiceMatin and will always go there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and wine later in the evening.

Perfect spot for a family lunch. The inside feels grand and special, the food is tasty and the prices are quite reasonable. Staff are warm and friendly and accommodating.

Nice Matin was great. Went there for Thanksgiving. The food and service was very good and it was reasonably priced. In fact I'd say it was an excellent value. The ambience is very pleasant and the noise level was tolerable, in fact not as bad as I would have expected considering the restaurant was full. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend and return.
