So disappointed. Pretty restaurant with no personality. All young kids in charge- no manager present. Food was very average and no one cared. Have no interest in this restaurant chain based in this experience.

Great location by Rupp and downtown. Got seated fast and service was there to get our order. I got the yummy shrimp and grits with creole gravy and it was so good. Seeing that walking Dead Dead man Norman is part owner was so cool. Can’t wait to eat at another Nic and Norman’s !

Destiny did a great job serving us! The pork shank was unbelievably delicious! Will definitely be back!

We loved it. First time there. The salads were a great start. The drink was nice but could have been a bit stronger. The salmon was fantastic. The meatloaf was wonderful. We'll be back to see if we should be put on our Reservation Saturday Top 5 rotation. That's a hard list to get on. 😆

The staff when we entered were very friendly and social. Preparing for a very busy night for UK Family Weekend which was completely understandable. Our waitress was pleasant but no overly social. We had the salmon, beef medallions, and two burgers. The burgers were dry (but by choice they decided not to get the special sauce which could have added to the dryness). The fries were not crisp, did not seem cooked all the way through and it was a turnoff on taste also, because they tasted like fish as I am sure they are fried in the same oil. The beef was very good, but my sides where lukewarm at best. The salmon was enjoyed. My family enjoys trying and supporting local restaurants but this was just average/okay for us.

Had burgers and chicken sandwich. All were good. We ate dinner early so it was quiet and service as great.

Our first time here. Parking was a little bit of an issue as we didn’t know where the restaurant was. Got that handled!!! We had reservations for a table but choose to sit at the bar and glad we did. Shawn was an amazing bartender & waiter. Food was great- we enjoyed our time here and will come back.

We were first timers. Our server was very nice & attentive. She did let us know they were short staffed. We had the pepperoni pizza flat bread as an appetizer and it was really good. Everything else was just so so and I agree with many other reviewers that everything is under seasoned. We had brisket nachos, pork shank, brisket mac & cheese, and a burger. The fries were not hot. We are not likely to return.
