We’re proud to say that we champion local produce and regional suppliers; from
Mermaid Seafoods here in Llandudno to Dolmeinir Meats, whose wares come direct
from the family farm on Anglesey. We bake our own bread every day, make each
and every sauce or accompaniment – the mayo, the bearnaise, the dips, the
chutneys – although we’ll own up to leaving the ketchup to the experts.

What a treat, wonderful fresh food cooked in imaginative and creative ways to perfection. The wine was outstanding, a marvellous evening of gastronomy.

My food was good I had the crab fish cakes but my fried had the steak which was brought out cold I sent it back and the chef said it is meant to be cold but It doesn’t specify that in the menu. I personally don’t mind a cold steak but it ruined my friends meal and she ended up just eating peas and chips. They did offer her another meal which she refused and took the steak off the receipt so I thought the staff handled it very well but it kind of dropped the vibe of the night.

Great food! My partner is always sceptical of small plates, but the fact you can either have a few tasters of any or pick one as a main with two sides is ingenious. Partner had lamb, prawns and mozerella tomato pesto salad and pick a side of corn on the cob! Wow he literally ‘ate’ his words. I had the scallops and monkfish tails and crab cakes, absolutely delish. With a really fabulous varied menu we absolutely loved this restaurant- price was very reasonable as well for what we got. Congratulations on a fabulous place we will definitely be back - please do give it a try, we are so glad we did for my birthday.

We were staying in Llandudno and only found this restaurant towards the end of our stay. And glad we did. We found the menu structure of sharing plates and well as main plates ideal. Our party of four all opted for the former and enjoyed the variety and quality of the food and the cooking. Service was friendly, professional and efficient. Would thoroughly recommended. PS The wine selection is excellent and very fairly priced.

Main course excellent. Blueberry and lemon pie very dry. Other desserts great. Service very good but very slow. Quite noisy.

The d/b caused difficulties booking, but second attempt worked. Food was excellent and 4 x party all enjoyed the foot a great deal. We would recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Delicious food and nicely presented. The chef is obviously passionate about his cooking. Everything cooked and presented to perfection. The waiting on staff were lovely too. This was our first visit to this new restaurant and we will definitely be going back.

For the first time ever, we were disappointed. We booked a table for a reunion with old friends. The restaurant was dark, cold and empty. The waitress did not tell us in advance that there was no fish sharing platter so we all chose it. It wasn’t available as ‘it wasn’t being dropped off until later’. The food we chose as a second choice was beautifully executed, but it wasn’t what we wanted really.

We had a great meal at Next Door. The service was excellent and we were made to feel welcome. Interesting menu and we both loved our main courses, which included two sides. We had lamb and rainbow trout. Although the meal is a little more expensive, the quality of the food makes it good value.

Having visited the previous day and really enjoyed out meal it only seemed sensible to book for the following day. Again our meal did not dissappoint excellent all round. Sunday roast as it should be...
