    Our experience at New York Prime was just okay. While the steak itself was excellent, the overall experience didn’t quite justify the price tag. The New York Strip was cooked perfectly—no complaints there. It was flavorful, tender, and exactly what you’d expect from a high-end steakhouse. However, the mashed potatoes were a huge letdown. They had little to no flavor and a texture that reminded me of those pre-made Idahoan packs from Kroger. Definitely not what you’d expect for the price. Service was another disappointment. Our server didn’t seem like he wanted to be there at all. He never once checked in to see how our food was or if we needed anything, and overall, the service was slow. His attitude made it feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Overall, while the steak was great, there are definitely better steakhouses in Atlanta that offer a more well-rounded dining experience for the money. If you go, stick to the steak and skip the sides—but be prepared for underwhelming service.

    Our service was amazing. Our food was well- prepared and yet delivered to our table quickly. Steaks cooked as requested. Great dinner!

    It was our first time and we will definitely be back when we are in town. Service was great, food was even better!

    The food was delicious.. I ordered the Oysters Rockefeller without bacon extra cooked, crab cakes and arugula salad. We sat at the bar and the service was great. We went back the next day and the service was impeccable and ordered the baked shrimp and Oysters Rockefeller without bacon and arugula salad. Will go back.

    The food was pretty good but I felt like our service could have been a bit better for the price. Once we settled in, we had to ask a different waiter for bread because our waiter didn’t provide us any. The wait time was also long as we didn’t sit down until an hour after our reservation but we were provided complimentary champagne for the wait. There was also a disturbance near our table with another party but I’m not sure what happened with that. Overall I give the evening a 3/5. Some things were out of their control so I don’t necessarily blame them but I felt like us having to ask for simple things like bread and silverware kind of dampened the experience a bit.

    Decent experience wish we had better seating & food prices are decent but the drinks are almost same as food.
