Originally from New York, Owner Big John brought his love of Italian food to our little island. He then married it to his love of tropical birds and established the restaurant in 1989. The huge portions and creative cuisine quickly made New York Pasta Garden a local favorite, and we continue that tradition to this day.
The fresh seafood and friendly staff will keep you coming back for more! We offer the largest pour of house wine you will find on the island and a have great wine list by the bottle. We strive to have something on our menu for every palette and dedicate ourselves to make your experience both memorable and delightful.

I normally don’t take the time to write reviews but I got ping’d by Open Table asking for one, and I did in fact have a pretty horrible experience after paying $225 so here it is: Food would probably have been good from the pictures I saw if I was able to order from the regular menu. Instead, they arbitrarily changed the menu to a fixed-price Valentine’s Day menu without notice to the patrons that had reservations previously booked for that day. The waiter argued that “every” restaurant does it, which wasn’t true in the first place as I could plainly see on the Open Table app, and number two, wasn’t even the point. A conscientious staff would have taken the time to send a quick notice about the menu change a couple of days beforehand to give people a heads up and the choice to keep the reservation ir cancel and look elsewhere. I know you don’t “have” to do it. The point is you should do it if you’re changing what you’re serving to a very limited selection to maximize your profit. The pre-fixe menu was over-priced on purpose for what you got and the food selection from the limited menu was not good. They know you can’t go anywhere else to eat once you were seated or would have to wait 2-3 hours to be seated elsewhere (I looked). Ended up settling for lobster ravioli but there was actually ZERO lobster in it and only had cheese in the ravioli. Had a party of 2 but they automatically charged the tip as if they were serving a group of 6 or more. Again, just presumptuous on how you deal with customers. They ALSO had the gall of adding ANOTHER section on the bill for a 2nd tip for those people who had too much to drink and didn’t pay attention that the staff already added a bloated tip to begin with. You want to make money then make money, but have the courage not to hide your deceptive business practices from your customers. Was looking forward to a nice dinner but all we got were multiple disappointments. Can’t recommend this place unfortunately.

Our server Donna was the most amazing person we have ever had the pleasure of spending time with while dining! Her attention to detail from food choices to wine were spot on. And the food was literally off the charts! You will not be disappointed and we can’t wait to go back!

The food at the New York pasta house was good. I had chicken Palm perfectly done. My wife had tortellini El forno which was delicious. We started with an antipasto which was ridiculously delicious and huge. Did I mention the 20 oz pours of the delicious house wines? The best part was our waiter Filip.He was just fabulous. He is from Montenegro and so articulate and fun.And efficient. We had a wonderful experience at the New York pasta house. We will definitely go back on the next visit.

To be fair it was New Years Eve and well you know how that can be. Service a bit slow but we weren’t in a hurry. Overall the food was good and service was good. We were sitting outside under some trees and the temperature was perfect. Awesome!
