Good was fantastic. The Taste of New Orleans gave me everything I wanted and was really good. The restaurant was busy but tables were still available. The service was really slow, though, taking more than an hour to receive our appetizers. Not sure if the kitchen was backed up or the waiter forgot to enter our order. Overall, our dinner took more than 3 hours. Luckily the food was fantastic and we weren’t in a hurry to get anywhere afterwards.

Went for the oyster happy hour, discovered it was only available in the bar. Ate in the bar. Industrial fan blowing into the kitchen. The oysters were excellent. Raw were plumb and cold. The charbroiled oysters were also very nicely done. Should have stopped there. Crabmeat in the crab cake napoleon tasted like it had been in the refrigerator too long. The jambalaya was dry, overly salty and inedible.

We enjoyed our visit and our waiter John was wonderful. Funny and attentive. All the staff were very kind and friendly.

This place is popular on the area and I was excited to try it. The service was good but it wasn’t very crowded. The good wasn’t as good as expected. My dish was half hot and half cold. It is comparable to other places in the area.
