What once was the site of one of Canada’s largest military camps is now home to something new. Located in Signal Hill, New Camp’s name pays tribute to Sarcee Camp and the 50,000 WWI soldiers who trained there. Brought to you by prolific Calgary/Cochrane restaurateur Tony Nicastro (whose last name actually means ‘new camp’), New Camp Bar & Table is premium casual establishment focused on great food and guest experience.

Service and food were both very good. We had a nice booth and were able to visit without a lot of background noise.

Not my first time to new camp. I always enjoy going back as the food and service is very good. Great location.

Holiday Monday so food prep could have been off slightly. Disappointing for the price. Wont rush back.

Searched for an opening for 7 people on short notice on a Friday night and New Camp was available. I had never heard of it, but the menu looked good. What a pleasant surprise for a “pub”. The food, drinks, decor and ambiance were great. We will definitely be back, I will gladly drive the 20 minutes to go there instead of my neighbourhood pub.

We tried new camp for the first time over the weekend. We loved it! The service was excellent, food was great, and the overall atmosphere is updated and inviting! Will be back
