Set in the picturesque village of Medbourne, in the heart of the beautiful Welland Valley, The Nevill Arms is an old stable yard and coaching inn bordering on Medbourne brook. The Nevill has ten boutique bedrooms, a stunning restaurant, welcoming bar and our brand new Josper Bar & Grill which is set back in its own private courtyard.

It was recently bought in 2021 by The Three Goat's Group and has undergone a major refurbishment whilst still keeping its original character.

Our brand new Josper Bar & Grill can be found in our rear courtyard. Surrounded by an array of beautiful flowers and our ancient olive tree, it is the perfect place to while away those summer days. The menu is all cooked from a Josper Oven & Josper Basque Grill, that utilises open charcoal flames to give unmistakable Summer time flavours. All day table service & fully stocked outdoor bar. Food served from 12pm all day until 8pm.

All four family members really enjoyed our meals, food was very good as was the service. It’s not our first visit and it certainly won’t be our last !!!!

Service was slow although staff very welcoming and friendly, took a while for the main courses and to get a wine order.

Had a Sunday Roast lunch. We have been here several tines, this is one of our favourite places. Beautiful pub in a beautiful setting. The meal wasn’t as tasty as previous times, Portion size was smaller than usual, the gravy was cold and over all our roast diner wasn’t as tasty as it normally was. We will still return but hopefully this is a one off not so good experience

A real treat to go for Sunday lunch. Love this pub. Friendly staff and great food.

Lovely and high quality food served in nice surroundings (located in a small village). We went there on our "date night" as it was recommended for fine dining in my local area and we were not disappointed. Excellent quality real ales too. Typical cost of main meal was (£20-25). The staff were very friendly and attentive. It was very quiet when we were there (mid-week).

Real gem! Real surprise when you walk into restaurant and see the wonderful outside area and bar! Service was really good and friendly especially as so busy. Food was top notch!

Beautiful setting. Great lunch menu. Lovely staff. Tiny complaint that the booking was for outdoors and there was no distinction where outside ie front by the river (our preference) or courtyard out the back (which is what we were allocated). We were easily relocated but had it been busy that would’ve been an issue. Maybe the listing can show these as separate options? Just a thought :-)
