Nevedya is Food for the Spirit, an organic plant-focussed restaurant & cafe in the Dandenong Ranges outside Melbourne. We serve wholefood vegetarian and vegan world cuisine with flavours from India, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and beyond. Our ingredients are healthy, ethical, organic, seasonal and showcase produce from local farms and growers.

Run by husband and wife duo Daniel and Shakti, it is an experience to bring you back to your true self. The food is a cleansing experience of reconnecting to nourishment at its untainted roots.

All the food is designed and created by female head chef Shakti Iyer with intention to nurture, transform and heal.

Inspired by Indian restaurants, Ayurveda and our travels throughout the world expect to taste our famous Ayurvedic khichadi, Sri Lankan masala dosa, world fusion tapas, plant-based all day breakfasts and our amazing organic and healthy desserts!

The Nevedya Garden Party (4th Sunday of every month) is on in the afternoon with music starting at 1 PM. Swing by for an afternoon of awesome live music and delicious food until 7pm! There will be a casual and fun party vibe with lots of communal seating. There will be no reserved tables and we will be taking orders inside at the bar. This is a free event - no booking required, but we do have limited space so come early to avoid any disappointment.

Nevedya delivered perfectly again. My birthday party was a wonderful day. Everyone loved the food, the service, the design and the ambience. I wouldn’t think of celebrating anywhere else.

We had a lovely fathers day at Nevedya. This was our second time , we went once for dinner and once for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed both. Our waiter was friendly and helpful and the ambience just right. Will definitely be back.

Such a great outdoor dining area, food is amazing as always. The set banquet menu on Friday nights are so tasty. You can see the care that goes into all the aspects of this place. So worth a visit and the Dosa is a stand out!

First time and won’t be the last. Exceptional everything!! Warm and welcoming service, cosy decor, amazingly presented and absolutely delicious food…..even our mocktails were refreshing and yummy!

No words can do justice to what I have experienced in this lovely establishment. I tasted the love the positive energy in the food . Just go and experience it yourself . I will be definitely taking my family again n again n again .
