The Nest restaurant had a lovely cosy, relaxing vibe The staff were friendly efficient and very knowledgable and helpful with the menu and ingredients We were a table of four and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the evening and superb food

At first we were disappointed in the service - young staff. Initially we were left waiting on a sofa for drinks order and ordered at the bar in the end. We weren't informed about there being specials of the day and when the wine came to the table it was incorrect. It was also incredibly hot. HOWEVER - the food was all delicious, excellently cooked, presented well, of ample portion size and the venue beautifully different. They also recognised their error and gave us the desert course free of charge. Overall definitely worth going back.

We really enjoyed the informal luxury dining experience at Nest Farmhouse. The food was delicious and service attentive but not overbearing. The setting is really special - was like being transported to somewhere completely different. Felt strange it was only 5 mins away from home in Docking! Definitely one for special occasions. I'm looking forward to the next one already,,!

Food outstanding. The highlight was the shared whole John Dory, but everything was very high standard. Excellent, attentive service. Very interesting, fairly short menu, and all the better for it. Would certainly recommend and go back. Price was very fair for “top end” dining in North Norfolk.

We found the main courses over salted, lacking in imagination and over-priced. The restaurant lacks atmosphere. Unfortunately an uninspiring evening.

Had a lovely meal, our first visit and very pleased with our meal- great flavours and really good food, vibe and service absolutely superb. Will definitely be back.

We had an excellent meal. Three of us had chicken liver parfait to start. Great presentation and very tasty. One had grilled sardines which she said were fantastic. The other had crab salad which was also very good. For mains three of us had the monk fish with a lobster bisque slightly curried. Excellent. Two had the duck which was also very well presented delicious. There’s a good range of wines. While the staff were friendly and really helped with one of our parties intolerance to a lot of foods I feel they could possibly be a bit more engaging. Great dinner - thank you.
