It was a reasonable fist experience. One scallop cut in half £15 not good value! Caramel dessert was avery small portion, not good value. Not much apple sauce or cranberry sauces for main course. Main courses were very nice as was the beetroot starter.

We had Sunday lunch and food and service were top notch. My only, very very small criticism would be that our cabbage was very wet and sat in quite a bit of water. However, like I said that was only a very very small criticism because everyone and everything else was just spot on. We will be back!

Nest Farmhouse is an exciting new addition to Norfolk’s dining scene. We have now dined here twice, with two more reservations upcoming. We loved the location in the middle of agricultural fields in a renovated cow shed. Wildflower gardens and ornamental pond are lovely too. Weather hasn’t been nice enough to have an aperitif outdoors, but we keep hoping for that. Inside is a stylish but cosy interior with friendly staff. Dogs are welcome, which is a big positive in our book, even though we haven’t brought ours yet. Menu isn’t huge, with 4 starters and 4 mains on offer for the most part, but there’s something for almost everybody, including vegetarian options. We had the lamb sharing dish, with Herdwick lamb prepared several ways, which was to die for. Our second visit, we had the rib of beef to share for Sunday lunch, and again it was delectable — sliced and served rare, with marrow bones and the very best roast potatoes I’ve ever had, Yorkshire pudding, delicious gravy and vegetables. For starters we’ve had the beetroot salad with goat cheese both times, as we love roast beetroot. It’s been quite busy both times we’ve visited but the staff maintain a cheerful efficiency. Our new local favourite!

Wonderful attentive and relaxed team. Utterly delicious and well presented food. Booked again in 3 weeks time

A lovely venue and location for a new local restaurant. Unfortunately for us the food failed to deliver on the high quality we anticipated. As such would say for the price point they have set they are not as yet competitive to other North Norfolk establishments that provide superior food for a lower price. Will be interested in seeing how the venue and the offering evolves.

Our first time , being locals we were very keen to try out the Nest Farmhouse. We will definitely return. Lovely room, terrific and friendly service plus utterly delicious food and the most generous lamb sharing plate. Only carp is it isn’t cheap but the evening we had was well worth every penny.

We really enjoyed the NEST offering in London which is a tasting menu style of restaurant. This venue has a more traditional approach which is a la carte, but focuses on having all of its ingredients as local in Norfolk as possible. Really nice approach and set within a beautiful estate that's almost like a stately manor.

We visited Nest Farmhouse for my son’s birthday lunch. Everything was beautifully thought out, the setting in the heart of the countryside, the decor and the food which was fantastic. I thought the three/two course set lunch menu was very good value. I am partially deaf and often struggle to hear in restaurants but this wasn’t a problem. Waiting staff were very pleasant and efficient too. A great experience all round.

Very newly opened restaurant obviously setting their sights high but unfortunately on this occasion we found the food and particularly the service to be lovely but not outstanding. The menu was short with not much choice and at the high end of expensive even for this area of North Norfolk. We enjoyed our evening but probably won't be returning until their obvious 'teething issues' get sorted.
