One of the best dinner i’ve ever had! My boyfriend was so happy with the overall experience. Everything that we ordered from the starters to the main dish was sumptuous and all worth the price. Customer service was excellent as well. They also went above and beyond the service by giving us complimentary birthday cake for the celebrant! We will definitely come back again and would highly recommend this to everyone who are looking to dine out on special occassions. Thanks Nero steakhouse for the superb hospitality. Viken & Mae

Birthday celebration. 76 years. Reservations made3 weeks ago, preferably a riverside table to see Detroit skyline. Wednesday, 7:00. I was advised a week ago that they would try to accommodate the window seating. Arrived, noticed window seating open, but we were seated close by. We dined from 7-9. Those seats remained open. Food; 8 oz steak was delicious, mashed potatoes tasted like powder. My husband enjoyed his along with 16 oz ribeye cooked to medium rare perfection. He received a 2x3 inch piece of carrot cake for his birthday. The Tiramisu had absolutely no flavor beyond the powdered cocoa sprinkled on the plate. My husband enjoyed it. For 2 people, without drinks our tab was $225. I was looking for a little more than a teaspoon of cake with the prices. The soup of the day (Chowder) was the best overall for me. Nice experience, but I wouldn’t go back. Jenny the server was Ok.

We have been fortunate to eat there about 7 times over many years. Not having been there in a year, we were disappointed. The our waiter was fantastic! The restaurant and views overlooking the Detroit river was beautiful. However, the food quality and pricing increase from last time was a big surprise. Now they only provide one bread choice as an appetizer and charge 9.00 for a small loaf that would allow a party of 5 to have one piece each. I would rather go to The Keg Steak house 3 blocks down and get better value for my money.

Everything delicious I had prime rib my sister had lobster tail, Sharon had sirloin Everything was delicious especially the side of carrots had a picture of scrumptious chocolate cake couldn’t figure out how to post it

We were disappointed the prime rib special and raw oysters were sold out. BUT the choices we landed on were spectacular. Escargots with Brie and the rib eye were delicious. The salmon was a bit dry. Everything came hot and the service with Deborah was really great. We would definitely come again.

The food was amazing! The time to get the food was a little slow and they didn’t serve any bread which was weird!

we waited for our anniversary experience wanting to do the prime rib special on Sunday they opened at 4 and we out at 6pm they do not even offer 1 roll with dinner that is extra only hostess mentioned our anniversary Waitress was nice . It is very expensive there not to offer at least 1 roll talk about cutting cost that is a little extreme I hope things improve it is a nice restaraunt I was a waitress for over 20 years always took care of my customers and letting the boss know when customers were commenting on these things Marilyn Jones
