For a 'so called' premium steakhouse and experience (with premium pricing), was very disappointed. A positive note, the drink menu, and alcoholic beverages were very well made and balanced. As we do at other premium steakhouses (ie. Harbor 60, STK, Morton's, Prime, etc.), we enjoy a family style meal which includes having our various steaks sliced by the kitchen. Apparently here at Neros, they are unable to accommodate this request. I'm not sure why as I'm sure they have a plenty of sharp knives in the kitchen. On top of this, our steak was ordered medium rare (a fairly simple cook order). The steak showed up medium, and extremely excessively charred. The sides we ordered included the brussel sprouts, mushroom's, and the Mexican street corn. The Mexican street corn and mushrooms were good, although significantly over salted (alot of the flavor was lost in the overwhelming saltiness). Instead of receiving the brussel sprouts, we received the maple baby carrots. Once this error was pointed out, we did end up getting the brussel sprouts, 27 minutes after our initial meals had been served. The brussel sprouts turned into our dessert and were the saltiest appetizer of all - we couldn't have more than 2 bites of them. The final comment i will make is that we were there on a Thursday night. There were maybe 3 or 4 other couples/groups dining with an overabundance of staff (which we observed were mostly just standing around). With all this staff, you would anticipate wonderful 'premium' service for this premium streakhouse. On the contrary, our water glasses remained empty for 90% of our dinner (only refilled once), our salad plates remained on the able after completion for almost 30 minutes, and after our mean dishes were delivered, other than bringing back the missed brussel sprouts, nobody came to check how everything was, and if our steak was cooked properly (which as previously mentioned, it was not). Very disappointing - would not recommend to anyone.
