An inviting craft cocktail bar and restaurant offering classics, originals, inspired & familiar flavors. We sip, we savor, and we share.

The inspiration for Needle and Thread came from the history of the space located at 45 Peck St. in Downtown Providence. For more than half a century Antonio Conte dutifully served the professionals in the city's center, with an old world style haberdashery, providing suits, outerwear and evening attire. For more than 2 years Needle and Thread was constructed piece by piece with the same attention to detail and love as Mr. Conte poured into every garment he constructed.

Nice little spot for a classy specialty drink. Menu is small but the food is spectacular.

Celebrated a 40th birthday and they so kindly gave us complimentary shot. Drinks were so good and the atmosphere is 10/10

Amazing atmosphere, love the vibe. The only improvement I would suggest is more servers. Besides that’s great place to kick back and enjoy the great positive energy and culture.

Restaurant week menu was great. App, meal & desert all under $40/person. Service is always excellent. A++!

We enjoyed our second visit to Needle & Thread. We were there for Restaurant Week’s prix fixe menu and while we thought prep, presentation and taste were 4 stars the portions for the two apps and one of the entrees was on the small size. The space is great and love the aesthetic keeping some of the historic look and feel. This visit was a more crowded room and so the noise level was a little louder than our previous visit. None of these less than 5 stars elements was an huge negative and so we will be back again to enjoy the space and food.

Needle and thread is always a great place to go and enjoy some craft cocktails and great music. Food is always top notch and the service is always great.

Went for a later dinner res on a Saturday so it was busy and bar area started to get packed around 1030. Overall great food. Staff was kind and service was a little slow at the end due to the crowd, while we were waiting for our check. Music was great. Loud but solid. I went on a date night. I would go back again but probably with my girlfriends or maybe make an earlier res on date night

The portion sizes of the entrees were small and we were actually still hungry after we finished. That would be my biggest complaint was the value you got for $95 when the three course meal gave a small appetizer, small entree and three donut holes
