Located in Dallas’ newly-minted East Quarter neighborhood,
National Anthem will feature a variety of riffs on classic new
American. The space yearns for food that touches vintage but with a modern approach. You can
expect elements of both coasts with a straight-forward Texas sensitivity, hopefully capturing the
vibes of a big-city, downtown dining room.

National Anthem is housed within the Magnolia Oil building located at the intersection of Commerce
Street, Jackson Street, and Cesar Chavez Boulevard. The building was originally built in 1920 by the
Magnolia Petroleum Company, later renamed Mobil Oil.

Fun Facts:
• The triangular architechture of the building is known as a “flatiron” design.
• The angles of the trianglular shape of Town Hearth and the Magnolia Oil Building are within 2
degrees of one another.
• From the rooftop patio, customers will have clean sight lines of Downtown, Uptown, Deep Ellum,
and the Farmer’s Market.

We love this place and all their other concepts. This is in our regular rotation and we love bringing new diners to you! Our server Adrian? Ariana? (I stink with names) we have had before and she is AWESOME! Solid drinks, food and well-priced wine menu. This trip we tried a "special" appetizer of calamari....fantastic! Cooked perfectly. Fish and chips were really good; thanks for the malt vinegar! See you again soon!

Get the steak frites! That sauce is amazing! Besides that drinks and service are always good. It’s nice because this spot is good but not too well known so perfect for last minute reservation

It was a great experience for the four of us. Service was excellent. The manager, Mike came over several times to chat and made sure we were taken care of. Our server, can’t recall get name right now but she was on it and so great to have. We’re going back to try more on the menu.

Very impressed with the freshness and creativity of everything from the cocktails through dessert. Loved the matzoh ball soup, fish dip and fish&chips. Service was also perfect.

Our dinner food was good, but we wanted great. The Caesar dressing is bland but the salmon was very good (added to the salad). The scallops were very good- the portion of the special could have been a little bigger. Service was the big downside. Our server really didn’t seem to grasp the pace of ordering and delivering. We waited forever for our drinks. We waited yet again for our second round of drinks and the check (another server dropped them off). All in all, it’s good. But not great.

Love the look and feel of this place. The menu is really varied and has something for everyone in our group. The specials were amazing and I’m glad we tried them since they were locally sourced and in season.
