The Nashville City Club has moved to 200 2nd Avenue South, Nashville TN 37201 (corner of 2nd and Demonbreun). 1st Floor - The Study Bar (open to the public); 2nd Floor - private event spaces seating up to 200 people and 250 cocktail reception; 3rd Floor - Members Dining Floor (private, members only).

Join us in The Study for handcrafted cocktails, full wine and beer list, and chef-curated menu of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Saturday brunch from 10am-2pm!

We have been here several times and it never disappoints. Great food, service and drinks at reasonable prices. And an amazing view tops it all off.

You can’t beat the view but we were overall disappointed. We had an early reservation due to tix at TPAC. The restaurant was empty and felt like an office space with tables. Only one other party was there in the 90 mins we were there on a Thursday night. I wish we would have taken advantage of another restaurant with more ambience Food was ok and service was good but I won’t return. Too many other options for better dining.

This was our first time to this restaurant. The restaurant offers a beautiful view from the 20th floor. The service was exceptional as was the food. They even offer free parking but we weren't aware of ahead of time. Overall, we give them five stars on the dining experience.

Anyone who has ever been a member of an old school country club or other private club knows that the food can be uninspired. The Nashville City Club proved to be the same. However there were no food quality or safety issues and nothing (per se) wrong with the food, it just was not very good. The service was excellent. The whole place (on a busy night in Nashville) was deserted. We were about 15 min late because there were so many people downtown that we couldn't even drive the last few blocks. There was one other table of 2 diners in the restaurant when we arrived and none when we left. There were literally 3-5 times more employees than patrons. The menu was old school but the food, again, was "uninspired". I left understanding why there were literally tens of thousands of people down below on the streets standing in line for other establishments and none upstairs at the Nashville City Club (which is open to the public). With a menu re-design or even re dedication this could be a hidden gem. But, alas, in its current tired iteration, it is just a really nice but sad place. It would be a really quiet place to sit and enjoy a (very mediocre) meal, however. The view is outstanding. And the service (being literally the only diners there) was prompt.

Fantastic view, service and food! There was also good, live music during this visit to the restaurant.

I wanted to take my wife to a nice dinner for our weekend get away, and just happened on this via OpenTable. This happened to be a private club and we had an amazing dinner with great service.

Wife and I's first night out after having our first child and we went to Nashville City Club before going to Wicked at TPAC. Both of our meals and apps were delicious. The wait staff (Sheila) was absolutely awesome, she even brought us a glass of champagne to toast our first night out as parents! The bar made great drinks and everything was very reasonably priced.

Dinner was delightful. We had a beautiful view of the river. Starting with the brussel sprout appetizer, it was tasty, they were the perfect amount of crispy on the exterior with fabulous flavor on the interior. For a main course, I had the salmon, which was cooked exactly as requested, and sat atop a green, and a starch. The flavors blended perfectly. My boyfriend had the steak and again all the flavors impeccable together. The presentation of both plates were also impeccable. Need to mention the service, our server was on. She knew our needs before we did. Definitely knew her wines. I knew what I didn't like, and asked for a suggestion outside of my usual varietal. She nailed it. One last note, we eat out very often and everyone over salts their dishes, these were not, for that more then anything grateful. We will be back.

I always thought one had to be a "Member" to dine here, so I was surprised that it popped up on Open Table as available for reservation. We were a pre-concert party of 6. The restaurant was surprisingly empty, and there is a sign outside the door noting that the restaurant is only for the membership of the exclusive City Club. But I asked the bartender, and he had our name and table waiting for us. One of our party's couples arrived there a bit ahead of us, and were having a drink at the bar. They were engaged in conversation with a smartly dressed gentleman also at the bar, who we were introduced to. Said a few pleasantries, and then were shown to our table. Great views of Nashville from above. Our waitress was BRAND new, and she told us such. So we easily let a few overlooked things go (a couple of drinks that never made it, one entree that got over looked, etc. ). No biggie. The only criticism was that the gentleman who we had been introduced to at the bar stayed there our entire dinner, just staring at us. Maybe I was over sensitive, but it was almost to the point that I got up to ask him to please stop, but didn't. We paid for our meal after the overlooked drinks and food were taken off of the bill. As we waited for the elevator, there was a picture of the officers of the City Club, and I immediately recognized one of them as the man at the bar. I was left with the impression that he was aware that we weren't members, and maybe a bit irritated that we had been shown in and seated. Maybe not.
