My family and I went there for my sister’s birthday. While the food was good, there were some charges which we didn’t expect, such as a service charge which amounted to almost $60 dollars and a side dish which we believed was complimentary but added $15 more to our bill. Had we known that the side dish wasn’t complimentary, we wouldn’t have accepted it. Not to mention that the $60 service charge was absolutely absurd - tip should be the customer’s discretion. We also wanted the servers to wish my sister happy birthday and they waited so long to do that that it was quite awkward since most of the people from our table had already left. I wouldn’t recommend Nara unless you’re prepared to pay an exorbitant price for food which isn’t extraordinary.

The food is always fantastic. It was almost too loud inside. There was super loud music playing on top of everything else and we couldn’t even hear what the people next to us were saying. We love it though and will be back.

My first visit and impressions: The food was pretty tasty. The happy hour specials were generous. The service though pleasant was very slow paced. Even after reminding them about missing items, some of the food never came. They didn’t notice and we had to ask them to remove it from the bill. When I inquired about a cocktail, I was never informed that items were missing until I asked why they were not included once the drink arrived. Lastly, the compulsory 20% gratuity that was added for our party of 4 was insulting, and presumptive. The level of service we received didn’t rise to the level of earning the tip that was added. All that said, I would return again to see if that was just a fluke day, because I enjoyed the taste and quality of the food.

Great job overall. I don’t like you can’t park unless it’s valet. You should have a choice. But I’m sure you have a reason.

Food portions were small. Food was bland with no taste and they charge 20% gratuity on your bill no matter how many people. I won’t be back Benny’s from now on.

Was really looking forward to dining here. I’ve never left a bad review for a restaurant but their food was less than mediocre. Flavor was bland, “seasoned fries” had nothing on them, wagyu sliders just tasted like a basic burger at best, and the sweet and sour chicken was dry with barley any sauce and kind of over cooked (or tasted freezer burnt, not saying it was frozen but that’s how it tasted…. Just stale). Waitress was great though. But they are out of their mind if they think they are going to last just on looks and vibe alone of the restaurant. Their marketing team is good though, I’ll give em that, got us in there. But won’t get us back.

Filet with the hibachi did not come as filet. It was ALL FAT and chewy. Service was HORRIBLE. It’s 50/50 experience with service and quality. I always try to give them another chance and not sure why once I do.
