Naos Hellenic Cuisine, the latest venture from longtime restaurateur Giorgios Bakatsias, blends ancient Greek traditions with modern culinary techniques. Naos Hellenic Cuisine provides a thoughtfully curated setting for local residents, romantic evenings, business dinners, and global travelers alike. Naos is a celebration of food and life, inviting guests to pause, savor, and connect by "creating a sanctuary for heartfelt hospitality."

With a focus on fresh, local, and Mediterranean ingredients, each plate is a testament to the belief that food can be both simple and extraordinary. Deeply rooted in the ancient Greek philosophy of “food is medicine,” the menu at Naos embraces honest, unadorned ingredients that emphasize simplicity and bold flavors, and features an array of vegetable-centric dishes and mezedes (small plates) designed for sharing. Staying true to the company’s ethos, a signature herb garden provides fresh garniture to many of the dishes.

We had a very nice dinner at Noas. The restaurant is large and has been totally refurbished. It’s lovely inside and not noisy like many new restaurants we have been to lately. They play some decent background music which helps with the overall ambience. The service was stellar and both the owner and hostess stopped by our table. We had two waiters and they were both great. The food was spot on and the baklava we shared for dessert was heavenly. My husband said it was one of the best baklavas he has ever had. This place is a great choice for a special occasion or if you just want drinks and small plates you could sit at the bar or, after the weather warms up, at one of the outdoor spaces. We will definitely return.

Another incredible restaurant by George’s group. The food was expertly prepared and delicious. We will definitely be back.

For an official opening night, it was just great, everything was great, food was excellent, service was spectacular, we just loved it. Definitely will be back very soon

We went on opening night. It's beautifully decorated, very elegant and the food was excellent! Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend if you like Greek food.

We dined there on their opening night and were pleasantly surprised that they had any kinks worked out. The octopus was top notch, very tender and perfectly plated. The clay pot lamb shank was fall off the bone good. The Souvla was also quite good. I would probably skip the lobster roe taramasalata next time, but there were many other menu items that I am looking forward to trying on our next visit. The dining area is large and the tables are spaced enough apart to allow for private conversations. Love the decor. The wait staff is professional and courteous. The wine list is well curated with just a few selections of popular varietals. They have some amazing outdoor spaces that will be very popular in the summer. The test will be to see if the kitchen staff can keep up with the increased number of tables then. They plan to have a separate seafood room, which sounds really fun. I think this is the restauranteur's 12th or 13th location. The execution shows that he knows what he is doing.

New and trendy restaurant.. the decor was magnificent…very upscale and the menu had so many interesting choices .

My favorite restaurant, Kipos in Chapel Hill, was just too far from my place in Cary…BUT thankfully, Georgios restaurant group opened Naos in Cary, across the side street from Bass Pro shop. It’s An with personality! Finally, the blank slate former restaurant, An, has been given life. I so wanted to be the designer, but George did OK with this project. I would add the Rockefeller large, gold statue (at ice skating rink in NYC) above the bar…as well as some people having a greek feast in the middle of the large painted mural, but that’s why he needs to hire me. The food was delicious, but the lobster appetizer needs a better presentation & something else on top, like small chunks of lobster, or even one claw. The lamb chops with lemon potatoes was delicious but needed to be just a tad warmer . It was moist & flavorful, though. My dirty, dirty martini was requested to be “filthy” but was just dirty. Comfortable bar seating & wasn’t too loud, even when busy. I worry that the tassels on all of those pendants will get greasy & dusty over time…and a fire hazard. But that’s why I’m such a great designer & he needs to hire me!

Elevated Greek cuisine. Beautiful ambiance. Stellar service by Hannah. The food was so fresh and well executed. Stuffed grape leaves were amazing. Really enjoyed the shrimp saganaki. The seafood stew was a bit bland, lacked flavor and depth however. But everything else. A+

The design and architecture of Naos is gorgeous, the service was impeccable, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the clay pot lamb! My wife and I were thoroughly enjoyed our night out here.
