    We ordered 6 of the starters to share as there was so many amazing choices we wanted to try (we could have ordered more!) Food was amazing and the staff were very quick and attentive. Cocktails were also very good and unique - was an experience in itself. Prices were on the more expensive side but I believe it was worth it for the quality of food. We will definitely be returning

    Lovely food, service was very slow. We were a big table, and only 1 server. Some food was forgotten. Took about 30 minutes to get the food order in. Some people waiting 40 minutes from when we got there to when they got first drink. Could have been much more efficient / or have more staff on given how expensive the place is!

    i have only bee here twice and i would go again. the food is good and the staff are nice people, you just need to be aware you might need to get the staffs attention to get more drinks and get the bill.

    Absolutely amazing from start to finish. A stunning setting and this is one place where the substance lives up to the style. Our waiter Dev was outstanding, great service, a sense of humour and gave great food & drink recommendations. We had cocktails to start, unique and classy. Some starters to share, the squid was possibly the best squid we've had but also highly recommend the seafood rolls and the chicken dumping, the dipping sauce was so good we kept it for the main. We had a selection of main, a pork udon noodle dish, prawn fried rice and schechaun beef with coconut rice. All equally delicious. We also tried two types of Sake, my favourite was the plum, this is delicious and potent. We booked this meal as a place to meet us for wedding planning, we couldn't have asked for a better place, the best meal and best service we've had in a long time, we'll definitely be back.

    Food was really good, definitely worth the money and we recieved our dishes in good time. Service disappeared after getting our food though, with our table waiting around half an hour to get the bill and then pay it. The food is worth the money, however the smart casual dress code should be disregarded, as most people we saw there were wearing casual clothing. It would have been nice if the staff at the restaurant managed the other tables when they got loud, as there was a larger group sat down shortly after us which were very disruptive, with people shouting at each other and taking photos with extremely bright flashlights on. One to keep in mind as due to the small size of the restaurant all it takes is one big group to completely change the atmosphere.

    First visit will be back. Josh extremely good in recommendations , attentive etc. Food very good beautifully presented etc.

    Food great, friendly service. Downside was that we’d asked for starter and main vs small plates and despite confirming that our starters would arrive together and then our mains, everything arrived in very quick succession eg mains turned up when we were still on starters so we felt rushed. Also not a big fan of plates constantly being removed if one person is still eating, it adds to the hurried feeling.

    David & David were excellent hosts and showed there knowledge and experience about the many food choices. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back and I will be recommending this restaurant to everyone I see 😊

    The pricing is pricey for the food, especially for some of the starter options (one was £15.00 plus) The main courses too were pricey and on some of the options there was not alot on the plate and some dishes you had to pay extra for noodles/rice etc (these should be included as part of the dish) For example £18.00/£30.00 plus is not a justifiable price when these are not included) I understand that everything has increased in price but if a restaurant is going to charge higher prices, the food has to be something special to justify the premium prices. In this case I have been to similar less expensive places in Manchester that have better dishes. The non alcoholic cocktails are reasonably priced and taste lovely. The staff are quick to put things right if unhappy and are keen to take complaints on board, sorting at the time of complaint. I am not sure I will be returning again unless you can bring your prices down or offer more for the prices you are setting. The food does taste good so therefore would recommend to friends. However I will inform them that the portion sizes are small and pricey but the ambiance is lovely and staff very friendly. You are also very helpful when it comes to different allergies so I cannot fault you on this. It is very important when you have a peanut allergy like myself.
