Nami Nori is a casual, award. winning, temaki bar specializing in open-style sushi hand rolls. Our menu features signature temaki, including crunchy varieties, as well as takes on the classics and a special vegan section. The open-style temaki allows guests to enjoy a wide variety of flavors, in each fun-to-eat, visually tempting bite.

We also serve Japanese-inspired snacks and appetizers, along with a selection of beer, sake and wine, available on tap and by the bottle. Nami Nori is a casual yet elegant temaki bar offering guests a unique sushi dining experience in Williamsburg. Coming from the rarified Japanese restaurants in which they trained, partners Taka Sakaeda, Jihan Lee and Lisa Limb envisioned Nami Nori to be a more inclusive place that balances accessibility with a dedication to quality and creativity with a respect for traditional techniques.

There’s nothing better than sitting at the Temaki Counter and having the chef personally hand you each piece! This chef interactive reservation will be at the Temaki counter, which is a high top format. Please note, due to demand, we can’t guarantee that we’ll have the ability to move this reservation to a different table type or dining area.
Indoor Tables

Grab a seat in our indoor dining room and enjoy a server driven experience! This reservation will be seated at a traditional table inside. Reservations at tables will receive their Temaki in complete sets. To guarantee the most crisp nori, each piece will be wrapped in a plant based wrapper that you’ll remove when you’re ready to enjoy! Please note, due to demand, we can’t guarantee that we’ll have the ability to move this reservation to a different table type or dining area.

Terrible service. Reservation was changed without consent and was told to get out after 1 hour and 30 minutes exactly when we were a party of 3. Was also told I didn’t have a reservation when I did on this very app. Would not recommend this establishment if you care about service. Food was fine.

Delicious food and a fun vibe. Sitting at the temaki counter was fun and it was nice to be given the temaki one at a time. Excited to go back!

Nice experience. Cozy dining area. Interesting cocktails. I recommend coming here before 7 pm, as it gets crowded pretty quick and the staff tries to politely move you along, which is understandable. For first dates, second or third, making a reservation for 5 ish is ideal. You can enjoy yourself without pressure as it’ll be empty inside and no there’s no sense of urgency to get yourself outta there as crowds of ppl start coming in.

My wife and I had celebrated an anniversary the first time we came here. We came to do the same tonight and the service was great. The food was delicious and fresh. We order two sushi sets and the caviar set, which we recommend. The cocktails are fun and refreshing as well. The space is also very pretty. We will be back very soon.

All the namis we had were delicious and the Toro appetizer was phenomenal. We will definitely go back.
