Nami Nori is a casual, award. winning, temaki bar specializing in open-style sushi hand rolls. Our menu features signature temaki, including crunchy varieties, as well as takes on the classics and a special vegan section. The open-style temaki allows guests to enjoy a wide variety of flavors, in each fun-to-eat, visually tempting bite.

We also serve Japanese-inspired snacks and appetizers, along with a selection of beer, sake and wine, available on tap and by the bottle. Nami Nori is a casual yet elegant temaki bar offering guests a unique sushi dining experience in Williamsburg. Coming from the rarified Japanese restaurants in which they trained, partners Taka Sakaeda, Jihan Lee and Lisa Limb envisioned Nami Nori to be a more inclusive place that balances accessibility with a dedication to quality and creativity with a respect for traditional techniques.

Grab a seat in our outdoor dining space and enjoy a server driven experience! This reservation will be seated at a traditional table outside. Reservations at tables will receive their Temaki in complete sets. To guarantee the most crisp nori, each piece will be wrapped in a plant based wrapper that you’ll remove when you’re ready to enjoy! Please note, due to demand, we can’t guarantee that we’ll have the ability to move this reservation to a different table type or dining area.
Temaki Counter

There’s nothing better than sitting at the Temaki Counter and having the chef personally hand you each piece! This chef interactive reservation will be at the Temaki counter, which is a high top format. What a wonderful place!! Thoroughly enjoyed. Very friendly staff and service! Food was excellent as well.

Loved everything - amazing service - beautiful minimalist decor - a menu to die for! We had the best lunch it was so fun to receive the box of nori to create their version of a hand-roll that resembles a sushi taco. We order the signature set - beyond delicious - very favorite was x.o. Scallop. Our appetizers were delectable too. We had the wasabi cucumber tataki and the spicy tuna dip. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better we had a yummy dessert of warm sesame miso chocolate chip cookie! Do not miss this gem!

Great experience, our server Stephan definitely stood out and would give him 5+ stars. Drinks & food were all delicious. Will be back

The service was excellent! The staff was great but TONY and the other guys working with him were so polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience. Food was amazing we couldn’t stop eating .. we are coming back for the TRIPLE for sure.

We loved our experience here! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess, immediately sat down in a beautiful minimalistic setting....the counter is the move! We ordered the tempura as an app and it was divine; then came along the temaki, my favorites where the coconut shrimp, toro and yellowtail! The fish was so fresh and everything was seasoned well. One last thing, order their matcha margarita because it was sooooo delicious!

I had an incredibly disappointing and dangerous experience at Nami Nori today. Despite informing the staff about my allergy multiple times—both when making the reservation and again at the restaurant—they served me a dish containing the allergen. After taking one bite, I became severely ill and was barely able to get up from my seat, almost needing to call an ambulance. The staff’s response was shockingly unprofessional. Instead of prioritizing my health and taking the situation seriously, they offered to remove the contaminated dish from the bill as if that could resolve the issue. I couldn’t even eat after that one bite, and there was no manager present to address the situation appropriately. If you have any allergies and want to dine somewhere that takes them seriously, this is NOT the place for you. The negligence here could have had catastrophic consequences, and their lack of accountability was appalling.
