We visited for my partner's birthday with our baby and toddler. The service was excellent, no rushing you to finish at your table or to quickly order. They talk to you and make you feel welcome. We ate tandoori chicken, tandoori paneer, samosas and poppadoms for starters. All were very nice. For Main our toddler had paneer dosa, we had saag paneer (little spicy) and butter chicken curry with garlic naan and rice. Rice portion is enough for one person, you would need to order two if you like more rice. We shared, as we wanted more naan. For dessert, we had jamon and toddler had dairy free ice cream. Overall, the food was unreal. In particular the tandoori starters and butter curry. Was a bit pricy, but worth the money. Note that it is a vegetarian and plant based menu. We are meat eaters, but it didn't bother us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. No difference in flavour at all.

Very slow, staff attentive at the beginning, but slow afterwards. Food came out one meal at a time. First person had finished before last person received meal. Food was good and interesting if you haven’t experienced similar dishes elsewhere. I would say it leans towards fast food chains, like Ask, prezzos. That said it was an Enjoyable visit and experience.

Our first time at Namaste and we have to say it was a very pleasant experience. The food was absolutely amazing, both my wife and I both said the best Indian food we have eaten. The service was very good however very slow. Not many staff to cater for the amount of customers. But that did not spoil our evening at all. We will definitely be returning again in the very near future

Portion was smaller then we expected and curry tasted bit sweeter even though we said want spicy, staff was good

Enjoyed my meal and service was good but was a bit taken back by the 12% service charge didn’t complain as it was our first time in there but I prefer to tip to the staff personally as sometimes it may go straight into the till other than that lovely evening

I was in Southend for a short break and I decided to visit the Namaste for a curry. Food was absolutely delicious! If you are looking for a curry with a difference then this is the place for you. Well worth the visit!
