At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Our menu is varied and seasonal, appealing to all tastes and includes Chef Specials, favourite traditional “pub classics” and Sunday roasts. We cater for different palettes and today’s changing tastes including children, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. As our dishes are prepared and cooked in house, we can usually accommodate most dietary needs.We pride ourselves on serving locally produced real ales. Our ales come from the excellent local microbreweries and are of a very high quality. We offer a range of good quality wines and spirits to compliment our menu.

We enjoyed our experience very much. Friendly and attentive staff, lovely surroundings and great food. The only quibble is my nut roast was burnt at the top but otherwise, it was all delicious.

Booked a table. While camping in Cenarth. Did not disappoint! Stunning location. Food was very nice with great friendly staff.

Nice selection of food to choose from, lovely atmosphere, great food and we were well looked after as always. Can't recommend this place enough - lovely spot for some dinner.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with family and The Nags Head did not disappoint. Food, service and ambience were excellent. Only criticism was that proper crackers will the cheese board would have been preferred to the waffle biscuits provided. Otherwise everything was great.

A great experience with lovely homecooked food, apart from the gravy. It was such a shame to receive such nice homecooked food with instant gravy which was tasteless. Pubs of this calibre need to serve proper gravy with their Sunday dinners.

We found The Nags Head by chance whilst on holiday. We ate Sunday lunch which was generous portions and good quality produce. Advisable to book as it was extremely popular and busy. We received excellent customer service and our waitress was so friendly and gave us recommendations for places to visit within the surrounding area. Definitely worth a visit and a great find for us 😊

The 4 of us with our 3 dogs arrived and were seated for our booking quickly by the very friendly staff. Glad we booked as it was very busy. We sat outside under the canopy and were protected from the rain. Food and drink orders were taken quickly via full table service. We tried 4 of the mains on the Sunday lunch menu and the fish/lamb/beef/veggie options were all very good. Would come back again if we are in the area.

Beautiful food at a decent price. The staff were so lovely and attentive. It was fully booked inside and out and we did not wait long for our food. Service was top notch. Would highly recommend
