At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Our menu is varied and seasonal, appealing to all tastes and includes Chef Specials, favourite traditional “pub classics” and Sunday roasts. We cater for different palettes and today’s changing tastes including children, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. As our dishes are prepared and cooked in house, we can usually accommodate most dietary needs.We pride ourselves on serving locally produced real ales. Our ales come from the excellent local microbreweries and are of a very high quality. We offer a range of good quality wines and spirits to compliment our menu.

Another Perfect meal , Calamari starters , Beefburgers maincourse ,Wonderful Tiramisu for dessert , great beer and good wine , lovely atmosphere and charming efficient staff , what more could you want !

Delicious food, generous portions, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Welcome retreat on a wet Sunday afternoon! Highly recommend.

Went for Sunday lunch . Food was amazing and very well presented .Cauliflower cheeses was expectational. Plenty of meat onn the plate , stuffing , yorkshire pudding ,roast parsnip, red cabbage, 2 roast potatoes, mash and gravy plus seasonal vegetables. Both of us had the lemon meringue and raspberry sorbet for dessert this again was well presented and outstanding flavours. Value for money .

Our second visit and once again it didn’t disappoint. Wow what can I say , my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and we had an incredible time . The room had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. We had a fabulous warm welcome from Zoe and her wonderful team. The cocktails were perfect , the best French martini ever. The wine was perfect and just to my liking . And the food was once again exceptional. We had the tacos and bao buns to start and both had the lamb as a main , superb quality and flavours. Rob had a Malteser sundae to finish and I indulged in the cheese and port , both wonderful choices. Spent a very comfortable night to be followed by a superb home cooked breakfast , plenty of choices . This place deserves every accolade going . One of the best , we will be back as soon as we can . Thank you

We arrived and straight away had a really nice welcome, the service was great and the food was amazing. Highly recommend it!

Away for a few days and wanted an evening meal out . Easy to find . Booked a table . Pleasant staff. Great pub food not to fancy but above your usual . Lovely old pub with rustic feel . Would recommend for couples or small groups.

This is the third time we have taken guests and it did not disappoint. One of our guests is a master butcher and praised the quality, cut and cooking of the lamb. Our guests came from Windsor and Shepperton and were amazed to have such superb food in West Wales. All perfectly presented and served. We will be back many times I suspect.
