Nagomi is the first Korean / Japanese restaurant in the Cotswolds & Gloucestershire with your own indoor smokeless table grill & hot pot experience (we use the world leading yakiniku table grill from Japan). This is massively popular in Japan, Korea so come and try it out !! We also have a great selection of authentic Japanese & Korean dishes +sushi from the kitchen, if you don't fancy DIY grilling. Absolutely LOVE Nagomi!! I came with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday recently and loved it so much I brought more people with me last week! I particularly recommend the Korean corndogs, but everything is absolutely delicious. The staff are so fun and friendly, and I'm already planning to come back again this week!

Delicious food, extremely helpful and considerate staff who helped us choose something we would each enjoy even though I'm not very knowledgeable about Korean food and my partner had never tried it. Nothing was too much trouble to explain to us. (We have great Japanese restaurants near us in Nottingham, so we wanted to go for the Korean parts of the menu while we were in Cheltenham.) The kimchi was perfect for both my partner and me. My partner loves spicy food and loved every bite. I'm a spice weakling, but I could eat one bite of kimchi and then one bite of the honey garlic chicken or one sip of my drink and then go back for another bite of kimchi. All the wonderful flavours without the spiciness that keeps me from eating it at some other places! Generous portions but again, well balanced, not overwhelmingly big. We only had one night in town, and I'm so glad we found this place. We would absolutely go again.

Been meaning to check this place out for ages and so glad I did! We got a warm welcome followed by friendly and informative service. The food and drinks were top quality, we didn’t get to try the table bbq but the table next to us did, I couldn’t take my eyes off their food much to the wife’s displeasure! We will definatly be back!!

At Nagomi the service is great, everyone is super friendly and attentive. It is a great place to go with the family or a group. There is a nice buzz and a friendly atmosphere, and I like the combination of Korean and Japanese. My kids love going there as well. Highly recommend it

We highly recommend Japanese/Korean restaurant Nagomi after a fabulous experience there last Friday night (14th June). Having lived in Japan, I was interested to revisit a few authentic Asian dishes, including Yakiniku, the Korean barbecue experience. This is such a fun concept; like a mini barbecue at your table - you choose your 'protein' and then a few side dishes, and cook it to your taste. After a couple of starters - Pajeon, a Korean spring onion pancake with a soy vinaigrette and honey garlic Seoul Fried Chicken - we opted for this and my husband loved cooking the little strips of beef and chicken to perfection. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, helped along by the complementary bottle of soju (a Korean tipple) I was given as a birthday treat and an invitation to get involved with karaoke next door. The manager went out of her way to explain the menu, recommend dishes, and show us how to season the meat properly. She was entertaining and professional and brought us a shot of sake to round off our evening, which she described as 'a slap in the face'. She's wasn't wrong! The food was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced, though sadly our budget couldn't stretch to the Wagyu sirloin at £87.50 per 100g - Nagomi is one of just three places outside London licensed to serve Kobe Wagyu beef. We can't wait to return to sample the sushi and try more soju flavours!
