Nagomi is the first Korean / Japanese restaurant in the Cotswolds & Gloucestershire with your own indoor smokeless table grill & hot pot experience (we use the world leading yakiniku table grill from Japan). Been meaning to check this place out for ages and so glad I did! We got a warm welcome followed by friendly and informative service. The food and drinks were top quality, we didn’t get to try the table bbq but the table next to us did, I couldn’t take my eyes off their food much to the wife’s displeasure! We will definatly be back!!

At Nagomi the service is great, everyone is super friendly and attentive. It is a great place to go with the family or a group. There is a nice buzz and a friendly atmosphere, and I like the combination of Korean and Japanese. My kids love going there as well. Highly recommend it

We highly recommend Japanese/Korean restaurant Nagomi after a fabulous experience there last Friday night (14th June). Having lived in Japan, I was interested to revisit a few authentic Asian dishes, including Yakiniku, the Korean barbecue experience. This is such a fun concept; like a mini barbecue at your table - you choose your 'protein' and then a few side dishes, and cook it to your taste. After a couple of starters - Pajeon, a Korean spring onion pancake with a soy vinaigrette and honey garlic Seoul Fried Chicken - we opted for this and my husband loved cooking the little strips of beef and chicken to perfection. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, helped along by the complementary bottle of soju (a Korean tipple) I was given as a birthday treat and an invitation to get involved with karaoke next door. The manager went out of her way to explain the menu, recommend dishes, and show us how to season the meat properly. She was entertaining and professional and brought us a shot of sake to round off our evening, which she described as 'a slap in the face'. She's wasn't wrong! The food was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced, though sadly our budget couldn't stretch to the Wagyu sirloin at £87.50 per 100g - Nagomi is one of just three places outside London licensed to serve Kobe Wagyu beef. We can't wait to return to sample the sushi and try more soju flavours!

Our first visit. So lovely to experience a completely different lunch to our usual pub lunch. The food was delicious and don't be afraid to ask for recommendations everyone is very knowledgeable. Will definitely be going back!

Amazing food. Sushi wasn’t in which ended up being a blessing as we had the Korean bbq … Food was great and staff were lovely. Really good 😊

My partner and I love coming to Nagomi, the staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is wonderful!! Our favourite place to eat in Cheltenham!
