Let’s start with the service. Extremely rushed, he talked so fast when explaining the prices for restaurant week and rodeo. Then the salad bar was a MESS! You’d think there’d be employees cleaning it up through the night, but no. They had a dress code, we dressed appropriately thinking we had to but it didn’t matter - people were in hats, tights graphic shirts etc. I killed 3 nats, one on my salad. I had a request for my waiter 10 mins pass and nothing. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars was because of Gene (i know im spelling his name wrong) he was the head chef and GREAT service. He came over with a meat, I had 3 request and he said “I’ll make the filet fresh so it will be a few minutes” which I was totally ok with, but even being so busy he made sure to bring it right over once it came out! and then he continued to keep coming back with any request I had. I truly wanted to tip him instead of our actual waiter but as a former waitress I do not believe in not tipping. A few years ago we went to Chima’s and had a bad experience when I booked here I didn’t realized it was the exact same place just renamed. But the worse part was definitely the bugs! We will not be returning sadly
