Mythos Taverna brings you on a trip to Greece & the islands, serving authentic dishes from across the region in beautiful Mediterranean surroundings.

Located in the famous Arcadian, just outside the Hippodrome with a beautiful heated terrace on theatre square, Mythos brings a true flavour of Greece to Birmingham.

Serving dishes such as marinated souvlaki grilled over our traditional Greek charcoal & a range of ‘mezze’ dishes such as hummus and the famous Greek feta salad along with a range of rose and syrup soaked pastries to finish.

Our wine selection has been sourced from all over Greece and we have a range of Greek beers and spirits. Be sure to visit Mythos for a true Greek experience & a taste of true Greek Hospitality.

Bottomless Mediterranean Mezze Brunch - £35

As a Mezze style, your plates will be served as and when they’re ready. Guests can have only one drink each on the table at the time. It will be replaced once it has been finished. Last orders will be 15 minutes before the end of your chosen time slot. All bookings require a £15 deposit to secure the booking. Deposits are fully redeemable against the total bill. Deposits will be forfeited should you decide to cancel your booking later than 48 hours prior to the reservation. Full payment in some instances may be required one week prior to the event. Please discuss this with management at the time of the booking.

The food and cocktails were incredible, great value for money and tasted so good! Great atmosphere (is quite loud) and beautiful venue. All the waiter staff were lovely. My only small critique would be that the hostess when we arrived could have been a bit more friendly. But would absolutely recommend it and go again!

Really nice brunch, food is delicious and the portions are really generous, cocktails are very good consistent quality! Staff were all lovely as well, my only very slight criticism was that towards the end of the time slot we needed to order our last drink, but then it took a while for the bill to come over and we could have snuck in one more cocktail :) very minor point though, really enjoyed it and will be back.

Not enough staff. Waiters working very hard but busy time 6pm. A wait to be served and for food. Asked for tap water never came. Moussaka very large portion. Not exceptional like one you microwave at home!!

We were made welcome on arrival. The restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived. The music was loud and intrusive but was turned down when we asked. Our orders were taken quickly and drinks served. The food was excellent?

Friendly staff, huge portions, food was tasty. Only fault was service for our bottomless drinks was very slow with periods of 10-15 mins trying to get serving staffs attention but drinks were served fast once ordered. Restaurant was at half capacity as well. Didn't let it spoil our time. Went elsewhere as we were still thirsty. I'd still return but would be more aware to speak up.

We ate at Mythos on a Saturday evening and had the pre theatre menu. We chose a bottle of wine which was great value. The service was excellent with waiting staff topping up wine and water as they passed the table. The food offer on this limited menu was excellent and was very tasty. We had two dips two starters a main each and a desert. There was plenty of food and you certainly won’t leave feeling hungry. We even took a doggy bag away. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just a bit too compact and cosy for my liking, wobbly tables poor drinks. Over priced tapas and portion sizes, also thought the selection choices on the menu were abit ridiculously expensive for what there was to choose especially when they are competing next door to another Greek takeaway who have a reasonable priced menu. Just feel this place could be better as it would get the foothold and walk ins from the theatre.
