Mythos Taverna brings you on a trip to Greece & the islands, serving authentic dishes from across the region in beautiful Mediterranean surroundings.

Located in the famous Arcadian, just outside the Hippodrome with a beautiful heated terrace on theatre square, Mythos brings a true flavour of Greece to Birmingham.

Serving dishes such as marinated souvlaki grilled over our traditional Greek charcoal & a range of ‘mezze’ dishes such as hummus and the famous Greek feta salad along with a range of rose and syrup soaked pastries to finish.

Our wine selection has been sourced from all over Greece and we have a range of Greek beers and spirits. Be sure to visit Mythos for a true Greek experience & a taste of true Greek Hospitality.

As a Mezze style, your plates will be served as and when they’re ready. Guests can have only one drink each on the table at the time. It will be replaced once it has been finished. Last orders will be 15 minutes before the end of your chosen time slot. All bookings require a £15 deposit to secure the booking. Deposits are fully redeemable against the total bill. Deposits will be forfeited should you decide to cancel your booking later than 48 hours prior to the reservation. Full payment in some instances may be required one week prior to the event. Please discuss this with management at the time of the booking.

Wow, first time here and everything was amazing, the food delicious, staff attentive and ambiance and background music perfect. We later went into the conservatory for more drinks. We will definitely be back again. Highly recommend to all .

We went for my daughters birthday the food was fabulous. Very good value for money staff we very helpful . Would recommend this restaurant it was fabulous

This is our second visit to Mythos and the food and service has been very good on each occasion. My only complaint is the price of drinks - £5.45 for a bottle of Still water and the cheapest red wine was over £26. But we enjoyed our meal and would go again.

Generally, food was tasty and plentiful. Location is very convenient to Hippodrome. Details: Food: Moussaka large portion but have had a few better Beetroot salad was in vinegar; I was expecting fresh. But that said, we enjoyed our 3 starters and our main. Accessibility:Access to property was not fully accessible. Noise: music was over loud. Hard to hear selves talk. Waitress kindly turned it down at our request. Staff: pleasant, unobtrusive. Price: reasonable.

Friendly, attentive service and delicious, authentic food Only criticism would be that portion sizes are far too large - we had the set pre-theatre menu and were completely out-faced by the sheer quantity of food - we had no choice but to leave a significant amount which we felt was an unnecessary waste

Visited Mythos as a birthday treat and was not disappointed. The service, ambience and food were all outstanding. The staff were all incredibly helpful and polite. The food was truly sensational and utterly delicious, the portions were huge, so my advice would be wear loose fitting clothes 😊 The restaurant is beautifully decorated and perfectly situated for anyone visiting the Hippodrome theatre. I will definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant and can not wait to return.
