Don't normally leave reviews. My partner summed it up as we left the restaurant...."I wouldn't go back." I am surprised by the first impression you get in the restaurant. Your initial view is dominated by wine racks, fridges and the bar dominates the centre of the ground floor....it's like the tables were an afterthought and have had to be 'squeezed in' to the layout. Every time the team ran up and down the stairs the table shook and it was (understandably) constant on a busy Friday evening. You actually felt like you were having dinner in somone's front room. The team member who was allocated to our table rushed and mumbled every course throughout the service and I had to ask him to repeat exactly what each course was and even then, still not clear. My partner commented on him afterwards and said that he came over as not wanting to be there on the night. I agreed with her. The food was ok and the fish course was excellent....however, dinner is about the whole experience and we really would not want to go back again. It was not enjoyable.

Gorgeous food and loved the added story telling extras! Had the 8 course tasting menu and they made accommodations for my dietary preferences.

We were in London from Ireland for a few days. We had the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing. The food, the wine and the pairing were excellent. However as an over all experience it was disappointing on issues of athmosphere and dilivery. The irish food with irish stories is good but not well dilivered and probably more directed at a non irish customer base.

Amazing food and a great value tasting menu with some of the finest dishes we’d had for years. The duck and the sea bream being stand outs. Anna came up to say hello and was lovely. A great restaurant.

Wow what a culinary explosion- bringing together the vibrant flavours and rich textures of Ireland into a pure master class of elegance and authenticity. Anna and the team are incredible and please make sure to check out their newly opened wine bar on the same street- we will most be definitely be back. Thank you, we had a blast. Emer and Tom.

Our second visit to Myrtle didn't disappoint. Service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive, the food was amazing, my favourite from the 8 courses was the Wild Sea Bass. It was stunning, I never thought mashed potato could be so delicious! The wine flight was also excellent, every glass was a delight.

Nice lunch. The lunch itself was an interesting mix of flavours. The tasting menu represents, overall good value. Although very typical of many restaurants, the wine, not so.
