Wow what a culinary explosion- bringing together the vibrant flavours and rich textures of Ireland into a pure master class of elegance and authenticity. Anna and the team are incredible and please make sure to check out their newly opened wine bar on the same street- we will most be definitely be back. Thank you, we had a blast. Emer and Tom.

Our second visit to Myrtle didn't disappoint. Service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive, the food was amazing, my favourite from the 8 courses was the Wild Sea Bass. It was stunning, I never thought mashed potato could be so delicious! The wine flight was also excellent, every glass was a delight.

Nice lunch. The lunch itself was an interesting mix of flavours. The tasting menu represents, overall good value. Although very typical of many restaurants, the wine, not so.

Excellent food. The black pudding was exceptional. Great service also, especially from the sommelier.

As always the food is simply outstanding. The service is first rate. I always feel looked after and valued as a customer. It's important to me as a solo traveller and a disabled man. To feel safe and happy. The team at Myrtle is amazing and you couldn't ask for better hospitality.

We had an amazing evening for our wedding anniversary, the staff were brilliant, the general vibe of the restaurant was subtle and low key but the food was fantastic! We would highly recommend anyone to enjoy the experience and food that Myrtle has to offer!

Outstanding meal, great quality produce, with sublime flavours with Anna's Irish twist. Friendly informative staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Loved the Irish music.

Tried the 8-course dinner. The meal started off well with a great Peruvian red wine that pairs with everything, delicious soda bread and visually appealing starters with great flavours to stimulate the appetite. The oysters were really fresh and I recommend getting them if you like oysters. My guest and I had one each of the two mains given. Unfortunately, the sauce/gravy on the sirloin was a tad salty for my liking and perhaps my asian taste buds. The bacon and cabbage was great. I looked forward to the desserts especially the honey and mead cake. Overall, there is a good combination of sweet and zest with citrus but the cream-like texture and appearance was overwhelming. Of course, I am no chef, but I would have preferred a pop of colour through the use of fruits like a strawberry or grape and the cake to be in a clean shape; along the lines of the following chocolate dessert (shaped like a magnum ice cream). Moreover, I selected the carrot cake which was also in a foam/cream-like state so that made me feel full quite easily. The final Milsean had a great presentation but perhaps it would have been best if the server told us which order to eat it from. I started with the fudge-like one and it was so sweet that I almost gave up on the others but I'm glad I did not as the sesame and flower-like ones were delicious. Overall, it was great value for 8 course and had a great ambience for talking/dates.
