The original pancake house was established in 1958 and situated conveniently between the West End, Covent Garden & the City.

My Old Dutch offers savoury and sweet pancakes as well as a selection of salads, traditional Dutch starters and desserts.

The atmosphere is warm friendly and relaxed which makes it a great place to come for families and kids.

Walk-ins only on Pancake day 21st of February.
Walk-ins and bookings accepted on every other regular day.
Monday bookings only for 10+ people groups.

                                                                                                                                                                                          First off it was very cold in the restaurant, which immediately put us on a bit of a downer. After someone taking our order, we expected our starters first but actually got our mains. Within a minute or 2, the food was cold so we stopped eating. With no sign of our starters and the prospect of it being served cold, we asked for the bill. We pointed out no starters were served to which no apology was offered, the price of them was removed and we left extremely disappointed.

Very generous portions nice amount of fruit and ice cream. I had a savoury which was also lovely. Very pleased with the food. Will definitely go again

                                                                                                                                                                                          Have been to eat at the Holborn branch many times, 1st time I have been truly underwhelmed by the service. Had to wait ages to give drinks order, so we ordered pancakes in case it took them another 20 minutes to stop at table. Food came out fairly fast was all good. Then we finish and we sat for a while chatting. Until we had to flag somebody to take plates and ask for menus for desert then we had to wait again to catch somebody’s attention to get the bill. Very disappointing.

Looks good but the pancakes were cold. For instance, one of my party had butter on top and it didn’t melt ! Coffee was Luke warm too ….. Won’t be back.

It was my son’s birthday & the team of 2 gentlemen that evening sang out loud & provided a candle on one of the pancakes - thanks for making it special!

                                                                                                                                                                                          Thank you for a really lovely time the pancakes were really good the service was amazing and the staff were really nice and friendly. What a lovely place this is .

                                                                                                                                                                                          We had a wonderful birthday meal there - a mix of adults and kids and the attached chaos. The food was amazing and our waiter made us feel very relaxed.
