Great cuts of meat. Great ambiance and service. Still working out some of their menu items and presentation.

From initial greeting to exceptional food, MXO is top notch out of the gate. Professional service from everyone we encountered. Hokkaido scallop and Colorado beef ribs were both outstanding. Great date night or sit at the bar if you’re a neighbor.

We went on their third night of being open. It is a beautiful restaurant with excellent staff. The service was unparalleled. The waitress, chef, and manager all came to check on us and ensure our experience was going well. The food was a successful take on classic Mexican dishes. Great overall experience!

We were disappointed in the food. The only dish we enjoyed was the yellowtail. Everything else had no flavor at all. Drinks were just so so and the music was very loud. We could barely hear each other.

Chef Ávila has created a wonderful high end experience. Just wow! His dishes were great including the drinks and the deserts. My only suggestion is the tortilla basket should have more than two tortillas and they should be warm at delivery. The crowd was lively and the chef was nice enough to come out and say hello. What an evolution from a taco cart to this amazing space.

Dinner was wonderful. We ordered based on the recommendation of our fantastic server, Lily. Everything she suggested was amazing! We over ordered but were happy to have some delicious bites left to take home and we are enjoying them today. The kitchen runners did a wonderful job describing each dish as it was served. Eddie went above and beyond and it was appreciated. We look forward to returning and preordering the birria as well as trying other options offered.

Went Saturday, on the 2nd night of opening. We noticed the attention to details of the decor, furniture, the entire ambiance reminded us of beautiful places in Mexico. The entire staff were very friendly, our waiter, Daniel was very attentive and kept checking on us if we needed anything. The traditional welcome chips and varieties of salsa came right out. We ordered lobster ceviche and grilled prawns for appetizer. We can't decide which one was more delicious! Each have its unique taste, the lobster ceviche sauce was very refreshing and a well blend between sweet and spicy, the grilled prawn in the other hand has a unique spicy sauce on top and it's grilled to perfection! Our main entree were Chili Colorado Slow cooked beef ribs, La Carnita asada, with sides of frijoles mayocoba and broccolini, all prepared and cooked to perfection! My Mexican husband loved the frijoles! There wide selections of cocktails and wine to accompany the meal. Chef Avila even came out to greet and chat with us! It was a great dinner overall. Will definitely return to this awesome newfound Mexican steakhouse.
