   Went to enjoy and celebrate a family member’s Birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Service was excellent, we had Alyssa and she was very knowledgeable about the menu.

   Long time favorite restaurant of ours for celebrations! They always treat us well when we dine there. It did seem a little more pricey this time. Everything was prepared deliciously. Service was great. Our waiter Wade is proficient and accommodating. All staff we encountered was truly friendly and genuinely nice/kind.

   The food was phenomenal! The flavors were bold, each dish with its own unique flavor profile. The service was also incredible and quick. Overall a perfect experience.

   A friend and I had dinner at MW before attending Taemin’s Ephemeral Gaze concert. I started with a glass of Crémant sparkling wine ($17). We opted to go with the 5-course tasting menu ($130) and I had the wine pairing ($40). We each upgraded the filet with foie gras for $12. Course 1: Five Small Bites, served on a narrow, rectangular dish. Hah, if I could only remember the ingredients for each. Needless to say, each morsel was delicious! It was accompanied by a glass of Crémant de Loire. Course 2: One of MW’s signature dishes… Mochi Crusted Hawaiian Kanpachi. Beautifully presented on a stunning black and green plate; the crusted fillet sat atop somen noodles with two small heapings of namasu and pickled radish. The wine was a ’21 Tiefenbrunner Pinot Grigio from the Italian Alps. It’s an inexpensive wine but it was very nice. Course 3: A plate of three sauteed Hokkaido scallops sitting in a soupcon of truffle corn puree. I don’t care for cooked scallops, but the corn puree was sublime. I wanted more! The wine was a ’23 Morgan Chardonnay, a perfect complement to the scallops. Course 4: Brandt Beef Tenderloin, augmented with a dainty piece of foie gras. It came with a potato croquette, pieces of vegetables … All sitting in a red wine, ume sauce. The wine was a ’20 Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a relatively expensive bottle of wine from Paso Robles but there was something off-putting about it. Whatever, the beef was fabulous! Course Five: A glass containing lilikoi sorbet, custard, haupia tapioca and tropical fruit. I ate just the top portion as I’m not a fan of tapioca. The wine was a ’22 Nivole Moscato d’Asti from Piemonte. The fragrant aromas of peaches and flowers complemented the dessert. I capped my meal with a French Press of 100% Ka’u Single Estate coffee. A perfect end to a fabulous meal! The tasting menu is great value as is the wine pairing. Highly recommended!

   Service very good. Responsive and friendly. Was surprised to find we were in a car dealership though. Food was good but overly creative.

   Food is always great and the service is also great. I would highly recommend the poke appetizer and the kampachi on some n noodles. If it was a special occasion I would have ordered the set menu as this is always very delicious. The desserts are also great here as Michelle is a pastry chef.

   Outstanding restaurant and highly professional team from kitchen to table! And one of the best bars in Honolulu, with a great bartender!

   Our waiter was helpful and friendly made me feel comfortable. Food was very well prepared and the taste was so good that we will recommend to others and for certain be back!

    We love this restaurant: good seafoods. Even though it was Thursday, it was crowded. So the waiters were so busy to stop by our table, yet the dishes are magnificent and we enjoyed a lot.
