A little too loud and distracting. Could hardly hear the waiter and it was difficult to talk to others at the table. Food was decent. Bluefin tuna was nothing special. Highlights were the fatty tuna/salmon rolls, the marinated cod was spectacular, and the Wasabi potatoes were great as well. Service could have been a little better.

The staff at Musume were personable and kind, and our waiter was attentive and honest. He even pointed out that gratuity had already been added to our bill so we wouldn’t accidentally double tip, which we really appreciated. However, we arrived five minutes before our 8 PM reservation and weren’t seated until after 8:30 PM. Given the Valentine’s Day rush, we expected delays, but no gestures were offered to make up for the long wait. The food was excellent, and drinks were enjoyable, but an awkward situation arose when the couple next to us tried to squeeze in another pair at their table. The restaurant allowed it, which made our experience less comfortable. Our waiter was the only staff member to address the issue. Overall, great food and service, but the seating experience could have been better.

Amazing food the staff was knowledgeable and friendly as well as attentive. There were a couple large parties who were loud but for the most part noise was kept to a minimum. Beautiful romantic setting.

Outstanding Japanese cuisine. Exceptionally knowledgeable service. An education in Japanese whiskey from the somolier. A super attentive and friendly owner. Loads of fun on their anniversary night. So very good. And fun! Highly recommended.

Always well taken care of at Musume for work lunches. Service is good, good comes out fast and hot, and overall just a nice ambience and clean restaurant.

This was our second time at Musume. It’s great for a nice meal and drink before a show at the Winspear. They give great suggestions, pace things well and get you to your show. The Morgan roll, Thai Basil Friend rice, and Wagyu beef were our favs.
