What a lovely dinner! We came to Murrieta's to try out their menu because we are planning to host our wedding dinner here. We had the CHICKEN SUPREME with sweet pea risotto, greens beans, sundried tomatoes, chive ju and the DUCK CONFIT with fried potato, green beans, mixed greens, sour cherry compote, chili maple glaze for dinner and they both exceeded our expectations. Then for dessert we had items off their new dessert menu and it was truly amazing, the chocolate cone with cream was probably one of the best desserts we have ever had. Thanks Murrieta's for a wonderful meal and a lovely evening.

A lovely evening with prompt service and delicious choices. Lamb meatballs were a hit and the prosciutto pizza was hot and a nice balance of flavours. We will be back!

Sometimes accidents happen, no problem - it’s how you deal with them that makes the difference. A kitchen mix up had our meals taking 40mins. As an apology the mgr offered each at our table of 4 either a complimentary drink or a complimentary dessert. We decided on dessert. 10 minutes after ordering dessert, the mgr sent our server over to tell us that they’ve changed their mind. We were then told that 4 desserts were too much to comp and were offered only 2. Strange time for a decision like that! Having been there multiple times I am sure this is not the experience they intend for their guests. The food, prices, ambience were all great. I just wish our issue could have been handled better.

The best gnocchi I've ever eaten in my life, best steak in Canmore hands down. Everything was perfect and the price was amazing.

We have dined at Murietta’s several times, it’s one of our favourite places to go in Canmore. We were left with the impression from our server that our table was going to be taken right away and that there was not time to linger. Interesting because the restaurant was fairly empty, even when we left.

The entire restaurant seemed to take care of me and my girlfriend on our anniversary. Amazing service, succulent dishes, incomparably comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommended.
