Welcome to Murphy's on the Green!
Murphy's, established in 1992, had its roots as a simple pub. Over the years it has transformed its look and gastronomic excellence to our present day polished casual appeal Our Executive Chef Stephen Dow is truly local (born and raised). Since late 2008 he and his team have uplifted our culinary program and have incorporated a very strong bond with the Upper Valley's many fine farms and purveyors. Chef Dow simply knows how to create balanced menus with pleasing taste satisfaction and firmly believes that by adopting a locavore mindset our customers will enjoy the many benefits and results.

It took forever to just place a drink order. Then, most drink ideas and options were not available. And then it took at least 30 minutes to get our drinks. So we left and had dinner elsewhere.

The burger on the menu contains cheese. They charge you extra for not having cheese (like if you are lactose intolerant) on your burger. Really nice….

Everything was excellent about our experience except for the fact that there is not an accessible bathroom here. Great food, impeccable service, nice people, and good vibe...but how do I feel when I get to go to the bathroom but my Mom can't because it is down a flight of stairs? It was going to become her new favorite restaurant until she realized this. Now, we'll never go back because it's not fair to her. Thanks for a great meal though...! Super food...!

Love the atmosphere at Murphy's, but sadly, the food doesn't quite match the atmosphere. The beers were warm, service subpar at best. I know they are always busy and always short staffed, so I give the servers the benefit of the doubt.

Mackerel was a little bland but salmon and pasta were delicious. The Brussel sprouts are the best we’ve had and we eat a lot of Brussels!

Overall a great experience. Had made reservations and seated almost immediately. The waiter was attentive. The food was delicious, although the steak was very! salty. The atmosphere is great

We were looking forward to eating here, having read great reviews. However, our experience was very disappointing. We both ordered the Murph Burger, medium rare. When the food arrived, the burgers were both well done, and the rolls were charred black. The table next to us had the same experience. The fries were limp, and tasteless. Our server, however, was very good. We would not go back.

waited well over an hour for our food. total stay to order, eat, and pay was almost 3 hours. The spin h pesto dish was tasteless.
