Welcome to Murphy's on the Green!
Murphy's, established in 1992, had its roots as a simple pub. Over the years it has transformed its look and gastronomic excellence to our present day polished casual appeal Our Executive Chef Stephen Dow is truly local (born and raised). Since late 2008 he and his team have uplifted our culinary program and have incorporated a very strong bond with the Upper Valley's many fine farms and purveyors. Chef Dow simply knows how to create balanced menus with pleasing taste satisfaction and firmly believes that by adopting a locavore mindset our customers will enjoy the many benefits and results.

The one good thing about the experience was the manager's response to our very overcooked steak (ordered medium/rare)and another mistake. He apologized and comped us. We unfortunately really disliked all of our foid.

On the new menu, the "smash" burgers are fairly tasteless. Used to be that good regular style burgers were much better.

Had a terrific smashburger at Murphy's and signature cocktails were delicious. The waitstaff was great and answered all of our questions with ease. I will be back next time I'm at Dartmouth.

I expected more of an elevated pub ambiance and menu. We had nachos, a vegetable of the day and fries. They were all ok. The vegetable of the day was about 10 green beans on a plate - not even sure that’s a side. My drink was made with flat ginger ale. I’d skip this spot unless you just want a beer.

Food was poor at best! Burger was the thinist ever! The seafood risotto was salty tasted like boxed and portion looked like a kids size- way overpriced at $34. Chicken sandwich had no flavor and was fried and burnt. Caesar salad was ok First time customers would not recommend
